NX isn't so much thin client as it is remote desktop over slow connection. Think connecting from home or other slow connection to your work computer and give it jobs to do. While this application may lower bandwidth for existing thin clients. Its not the real drawl.

The original article submitter stated that gmail notifier doesn't pop-up. But it seems like it does exactly the same thing that other email notifiers do show the subject line and sender in a box that flows up from the notifier.
Because computers in theory shouldn't be making stray markers, and atleast it will be absolutly clear how they voted. No hanging chads, no marking multiple canidates. But I do agree, there could be printing errors, so you would need it to be checked in some way. I personally think the scan sheets used in some florida counties is the best. It is used where I live, and you fill in bubbles, place them into machines, and if the machine isn't 100% sure of how you voted, it is spit back out. The leon county vote (where I live) was exactly the same in the first and second recounts as it was on election day (minus absentee ballot problems:)
You can buy a personal airplane right now and do the exact same thing. The only difference is that flying cars hope to be 1. Cheaper 2. Easier to drive 3. Able to drive on normal roads also.
That aside several of the current fly car prototypes today do not meet condition 3 very well.

I completly agree, luckly things are being done to aid this process. 1. Prisoners who were captured whos only crime is fighting against the Americans, and are willing to accept the new Iraqi government are being set free. 2. Peaceful negotiations are underway in which militias are accepting the rule of the new iraq government are happening, and so far possitive.
What is sad about all this, is that some of these militias attacked their own citizens even after the government handover, before sitting down and talking it over.

Yes it takes a lot of work to come up with original ideas. But not so surprisingly you can give away ideas, and most people wouldn't know what to do with them. Then you turn around and charge them to show them how it works.:)
Actually before the IPO googles earnings were very very good. They turned a profit of $64 million for the first 3 quarters of this year (no not $64 million for each quarter, I'm talking total here). Compared to profit of $26 million in 2003, they are doing very well, even without the IPO. Actually from what I understand it is those profit numbers that actually made the FCC se mi forcegoogle to IPO in the first place. Apparently there are regulations concerning how much a private company can earn.... shrugs.
