Yes cable don't have classic Common Carrier status, otherwise they would be forced to wholesale their lines. They do though have DMCA exception as a common carrier which monitoring may or may not effect that execption, IANAL
Yep, though with an American product you may get the occasional license violation, your almost guaranteed to get it with your Chinese ripoff. And yes, your GPL isn't safe either.
People have been working insane hours for a long time. Insane hours doing sleep inducing jobs on the other hand, is a new things. The Amish don't fall asleep behind the plow.
Oh come on, its only been 2 years. A lot of games have taken 3 years sense their first showing to the public till release. DNF is going on 11 years. No comparison really.
the local and federal governments granted these companies legal monopolies and gave them huge subsidies and land to build their networks. Thats how. The barrier to entry in nationwide data networks is huge.
Na, I like my idea. Going along with the old idea, that all the good laws are obvious and the fewer laws the better. All laws on the federal level should require a 3/4 majority to pass, then require only a 3/7 (or something just under 1/2) majority to strike old laws (meaning striking the whole law as passed and line item striking would provide the ability for 3/7 to effectively create their own laws). You would get rid of crap laws easier and make it tougher to create new ones. So they would have something to do... getting rid of old laws.
From what I understand for flash based memory that the number of writes is sector based. Meaning you can write to each sector X number of time. A swap partition would probably be a good idea, with an understanding that once you've burned through that partition you need to look at other options, but this way your not risking the rest of your data.
And of course in the process of terraforming, the atmosphere should become more earthlike. Meaning by the time mars is ready for us, landing should be easier.. of course IANARS (I am not a rocket scientist)
Yea, this is basically what I do. So far the only update that has really hurt me is one that only affected 2003 Server x64, because I have only one of those... Currently in the process of requesting a second.. but you know...
Of course this all assumes you have enough staff to have someones primary job being testing updates. Most places unfortunately have just enough IT staff to keep things running. Sure things will occasionally break but and someone will have to work overtime. Sure a good sysadmin should delay patch releases for a few days in case any big news comes out. But thats the about the most you can expect for the average business.
Look around for scans of the recent gaming magazine that had an exclusive. Lots of new stuff. 1. The game isn't as centered around committing random crimes. Sure you can still jack cars, but its obvious easier to pay a taxi or take other transportation or example. 2. There is an in game computer internet, you receive emails from crime bosses, post resumes to jobs, etc etc. 3. Much more extensive fighting system. Article stated it was close to gears of war in the close quarters fighting, nothing like the spray and pray of the previous fighting. 4. The missions are more open ended, unlike previous GTA games you can have multiple missions going on at the same time, for example some missions require multiple days to complete you can take on smaller missions in the interim while you complete the larger missions, etc etc..
Even though you were incorrect on your Alaska numbers. The difference between male/female differences in certain places in Alaska is due to immigration of males for certain jobs. While the reason for the male/female difference in many Muslim countries is due to the killing of females. Completely different issue.
Maybe in your city. I know where I live there are always mutiple ways to get to each place. BTW google doesn't set the order it just tells you the quickest path within the order you set. Which is handy because I've always wondered if it was quicker to take the interstate to my sisters house or to take the regular roads, now I know. (Actually I've always take the regular roads cause the interstate in under construction ladadeda, but you get my point).
I can think of a few examples right off hand. The shop I work for on the weekends sells some items that Walmart sells as a loss leader, ie, walmart practically gives them away, though a cheaper quality version, to get people in the door. If it has to be returned so much the better for walmart. A price floor would help, though I wouldn't expect to see one as there are many manufactures..
The very fact that its activated through iTunes means that even if you can unlock it to a different carrier it will then be completely unusable through standard iTunes. So meaning even if you can unlock it it won't be very useful for anything but a mobile phone. I'm guessing after the 5 year contract (Apples contract with AT&T not yours) other vendors will also appear in the iTunes activation. So in reality your 2 year contract is 5 years as it will be 5 years before you can use anything but AT&T.

And don't forget the HUGE fees if you screw up and bounce a few checks. No the bank won't pay you if they screw up either.
Back in those days people were selling buckets of free software at high "fee" cost. Linus apparently didn't like this.

Doesn't vista have the ability to use a flash drive for instant boot information?

Definataly, just as the "pac-man" universe is meaningless to anyone older than 5 same as for sonic. Bad memories of pac-man cartoons still haunt me.

While definately not Zero. That was the underpinning of domain policies, which defiantly reduce administrative effort (for windows systems that is).

No, they have an internet, on your computer, in a game, on your computer.

"Mozilla is not an HTML user agent" comment for bug 915.
..Damnit Hixie, get out of my head..
Nope, its a CSS user agent.
Only for short lengths. For international or especially satellite connections you get less than 10% with normal TCP.
Cause people are stupid... Though seems the prices have dropped as news has spread they are widely available.
Why? You can sell it on ebay for $900+
