    Well we all heard about the anti McCain push polling a while back. So its not unheard of.

    I wonder if there were any "Given that Sen Lieberman could rape your children and kill your pets, will you vote for him in the Primaries." Last month.

    Lucikly I just get broadcast. So the only messages I get are anti cable such as the one I've seen flogging the cable companies for trying to charge outragious amounts for local HD signals.

    I've never heard this logic. But its pretty insane as most voucher programs only affect low preforming schools. Even if it was an option in high preforming schools vouchers wouldn't draw many away if the school was preforming well enough.

    I know you didn't write this, but out of curiosity. Does anyone know how these independant developers fund themselves. I mean the advantage of a publisher is they give you money to make the game upfront.

    Its got a decent graphics card, but its processor would certainly suck for normal computing uses. I may be wrong but it probably would be slower than an XBOX 1 for emulated PC software.

    Not nessesarily, it depends upon how they did their accounting. Companies have dozens of ways to hide short term losses. Most likly they will continue to hide these loses untill the Wii starts raking in money.

    Which is exactly why they are/have to sell the console at a profit. They can't assume their customers are going to buy more than a dozen games in its lifetime. So while they might even sell millions more consoles than xbox360 or PS3, they won't likly sell more games.

    He possibly has a subscription so he sees it early, or most likly he has debated this subject before so used his previously canned responce. It doesn't nessesarily make it wrong (though I admit I didn't read it all :)

    Either way, the humor of Ohio and Floridas minority district problems are that they were mostly run by Democrats. Sure these minorities might have been disenfranchised, but it was out of incompitance and not nessesarily some scheme.

    Hu? No they are releasing the full versions on DVD, and have shortend syndicated versions that match up with the already shortend for syndication version already being shown. You really can't get away with 55 minute tv show anymore.

    But see thats why ATMs have a daily limit for withdrawl for most people (you can get this changed if you need frequent large access, but its rare for most people). I don't see why banks can't implement filters to catch abnormal large request and hold them till you approve. This would keep phishing damages way down.

    Except many people don't have their computer within TV viewing range. I know mine is around the corner from the TV. So had I been watching this, I would have just listend to the TV show while playing around with the internet site. And maybe rewatching it on the TiVo later.

    Whats really amazing if I've read some study in which they ponder. Why do people watch Internet Video ads (the ones that come before clips) 90% of the time and even can be tested on them later and remember them. When they don't remember TV ads harly at all.

    DUH its because the commerical spot is less than 30 seconds and only 1 ad. Cram 7 commericals into a break and they all blend together in my mind.

    Update the special effects to what the orginial would have done had they had the budget/tech they wished for.

    Sadly this is what lucus has stated many time is exactly what he did. Apparently the only reason the old ones were any good is because he DIDN'T have the technology to add all sortsa cutsy CGI. Think about all the cutsy stuff they managed to put in even the original Jedi. Now imagine if Lucas had had that kinda budget for A New Hope.

    They want it to be in HD and and dolby digital sound mainly. Most important, for the DVD and eventual HD-DVD release. Do you think people would shell out that kinda money for the original originals...

    Luckily if you actually read the official site (startrek.com though the site seems to be down so I can't give you the actual part concerning this show). They state that they are making extra careful attention to not change the plot or feel at all. Mainly they are cleaning up the grainy film and turning it into HD, and taking the models and redoing them to look exactly the same. Several mentions on their site on how they actually had to cut back the effects to match the old style as to not make the changes obvious.
