Sorry but so far courts have held that these items are intellectual property. Obviously as theft is allowed in game you can't accuse the guy of theft, but if he broke the rules fraud maybe. Imagine that I host a tournament in which I charge $100 for entrance. Someone cheats. You personally can show that you would have placed high enough to come out with atleast $1000. Should the cheatee be allowed to sue the cheater and get his thousand dollars back? Maybe....
Obviously your right, as "conference" is general. They arn't breaking trademark laws, but they would be breaking truth in advertising. It seems to be a general law that states you cannot imply that you are the official sponsor of something if you are not. Though what really bothers me is under current trademark laws you could say "hey don't goto starbucks, our coffee is better, come to ___". Under these laws you can't say, "Hey don't goto the olympics, our games are better....".
There are 2 1/2 years before campaining should even start. GOD. Someone should do a timeline of time gap between the start of talk of a campain and election. I'm sure its an upwards trend. Eventually we will be talking about the next election before the primaries for the previous.
No the contitution does not say this. And narrowing down the definition to just what you think it might have meant defeats the whole purpose. Yes the courts have rules there are exceptions to free speach. But these exceptions are on a case by case basic. There is no blanket.. Is it political speach? No? then its not protected assumption.
While I don't personally support government censorship, I believe a comprimise could be made on this issue. Allow porn sites to have their.com but encourage them to have their actual content on.xxx sites making the.com simply forward to the.xxx. Thus the filters could easily filter on.xxx and the site could keep their.com

HAHA, that video was funny. Only in Japan I guess. I would never imagine creating a marketing video when my product half works. Watch it, many of the slits don't go far enough, and it seems like once they do move, they won't go farther if nessesary to accomidate. As well the sensors should have a wider range, as the tops of peoples heads didn't always trigger the sensor for the slit that you would bump your head into if you actually used it. Cool, but this thing would quickly get destroyed in real usage. I guess in Japan people are willing to work around technology like that and duck.
Actually there are many people living the respectable middle ground. I havn't bought a RIAA CD in years. But I havn't pirated anything in years either. I've bought a few itunes songs, and downloaded many indie music that is freely available. In turn a few of these freely available legal downloads have turned into purchases. There are many like me, and the RIAA will probably never wake up to us sadly, because there has been indie music for decades and they havn't paid attention. Why should they start now.
Not nessesarly, simply they use a different mix than google. Thats why failure turns up GW in slot 1 for google, and slot 4 yahoo. It should not turn up at all, if simply indexing by page content soley.
Well google also indexes based upon refering links and not just the context in the page itself. So if many websites refer to GW as a failure, GWs page itself will turn up as a high hit. Yahoo does this as well, but doesn't not nessesarly give it the same weight. This could highly affect amounts of returns. Because if we say that google returned X pages for a search on term "y" many of these pages may not actually mention "y" thus giving a larger page count for "y". While with yahoos method, it will mainly return pages that mention "y" themself. And possibly add some pages that are mentioned to include "y" by links. This can vastly alter the count.
No public libraries are federally required to filter if they want federal money. And most do. Other the other hand most librarians themselfs strongly oppose filtering.
searching Mises.org for Justice turns up a lot of hits. Can you provide a link?
Anyways seriously you don't think that there is a problem with the private prison need for repeat customers. Or is it simply that public isn't any better.. Any solutions come to mind?
So your trying to say socialism is the cause not the solution????!! HU?!?! HAH sorry just kidding. Actually I still wonder if true socialism, or true capitalism would ever work, lucklily we've found a good mix between the two (could use a lot of work still obviously). Sadly there are more examples of failed socialism than failed capitalism. Though one cause say the nazis practiced failed capitalism, though the government was giving out corperate welfare by the handfuls so not really a example of pure capitalism. As well as it was war that collaped their system not a failure of their economics so one can't really make any analysis of it anyways.
I'm assuming they arn't its probably just a programmable LCD. You could program it to show your computer temperature, most likly its going to show you keybinding info for some sort of hot switch binding system. Though there obviously will be an API that a game could use, I doupt you will see many use it. Though it probably wouldn't be hard to hack in some system to pull scores or such from most major games.
The reason EU if so expensive is taxes. that $5.00 a gallon is 2.50 in taxes, and 2.50 in gas. Not much more expensive really, just more taxes. Now those taxes have gone to a better mass transit system (and good roads too) luckily, so car use is much less common.
And yes you are kinda right, overall private juvenile prisons don't generally do much worse or better than public ones. But the few that are misserable failures tend to be private more often.
Yea, its pretty bad. Lucikly in Florida atleast we are making some chances due to a lawsuit in the late 90's that lead to an oversight group being created (my employer) that has the power to have funding be removed from a program that is not preforming. (Of course it takes atleast 3 years of miserable preformance to shut one down sadly). This and our rating system that for some reason programs are concerned about (maybe judges look the ratings, I'm nor sure), seem to be helping make improvements here. Look for other states to follow suit as we recently got a grant to help other states follow this model.
Hu? I was agreeing with you, that starvation in this country is either by choice or abuse. Now I do have to disagree with your implication that there arn't other places in the world where people have no choice but to starve
Of course my favorite accident was the one in the nevada desert, sorry dont remember the name. Where the control robs where pulls up to high, and flew up and impaled a guy to the ceiling. This quickly lead to control rod stops in all future reactors.

Yes he commited fraud, but did he commit theft?
While theft charge is kinda silly, one could make arguments for fraud charges as he did break rules in order to obtain other peoples stuff.
Sometimes virus/worm writers will slow their infection rate purposfully to avoid detection. A huge network spike will get noticed.

Yea, I meant cd-burner thing is all the cd-burners I have bought have been able to burn music to data cds. So this surprises me.
Hmm I've never seen this before. Please notify the world of model of your CD player. So we can avoid this like the plague.

Yea I knew it was an experimental reactor. Idaho though? Hu.. thought it was nevada. Thanks.

Hell with all those crazy helium ballons that people like to use, I bet our atmosphere is more then 18 ppm helium. Except its way up there.. HHEHE
