My biggest complaint with Intelligent Design and other creationist arguments is that it doesn't really answer the question of origin. It just moves it.
If we decide a supernatural power created us and everything we see, where did the supernatural power come from? We haven't answered the question of how the universe came to exist.
The statute has run out for the parents to sue, but not for the kid. He has a couple of years after he turns 18 to sue on his own behalf. I was attacked by a dog when young, and 16 years later I had the option to sue the insurance company the dog owner had at the time. Also there is anedoctal evidence of several doctors deciding to either no longer birth children or to charge more for their services due to the number of malpractice suits over genetic traits outside the influence of the physician.

On eof the local news stations here in the Seattle area attempted to do an expose on grocery overcharging. But after all was said and done they found more mistakes in their favor than in the store's favor.
So you would prefer a game that was true to your life? Why bother playing a game at all, go live your life it'll be just like the game. Games by definition (activity engaged in for diversion or amusement) are escapist. If your Nietzschean beliefs dislike escapism then you need have no concern of the content of games.
I noticed a lot of the previous comments talking about the inaccuracies of using IPs to get geographical location. Well it should be pointed out that he parses for street addresses in the html document then converts those to geographical coordinates. So it would even work for people who have a business in Washington but are hosted in Utah.
It is common in most large businesses to destroy extra stock. I used to work summers doing a parts inventory at a few auto dealerships and they destroyed all kinds of hardware then reported the numbers back to the manufacturer for credit.
Has anyone considered that maybe the P4 is overheating and running too fast? If it is a BIOS issue perhaps it is overclocking the che chip, which would cause it to run faster than it should, thereby generating more heat, and causing perfomance issues (a.k.a. crashing). Just a thought, but it would fit the reported reasons behind the recall.
it would be nice if you had watched the debate before commenting on this. Al Gore himself said that he plans to spend twice as much on defense as Bush. The exact figures he said were: Bush spending 45 million and Gore spending 90 million. And quite frankly is it our place to tell the rest of the world what to do? Would we appreciate some other country coming over here to right the wrongs their citizens see?
Quite frankly I never expect to be a millionaire, not that I wouldn't like to though, but I have to say that I think increasing the percent of taxation the more succesful you are does not strike me as a fair and even handed way of acting. I have been a proponent of a flat tax system with no credits or loop holes for quite awhile just because it is a fair way of taxing people. The American way is to work hard and become rich. But nowdays we seem more and more to want to punish the rich for being successfull. And as far as those who have inherited their wealth, well they can thank their ancestors for living the American dream. Bush approaches government with a common sense, even handed ideaology while Gore approaches it with a middle class uprising against the rich. And I don't fit the typical conservative demographic. I'm 25 year old technophile pagan.
