Consumers believe they are entitled to do what they want with what they were advertised and paid for. ISP's get upset when people actually make use of their services, and also if their services are providing them with cheaper phone alternatives etc.
It's similar if you paid for an All Season pass to football games or the such, and when you actually started going, the company got upset because they sold your seat to someone else as well, and now they need to invest in more seats. Or if say Duracell sold flashlights, and you purchased one. Then Duracell got upset that you started using energizer batteries in the flashlight instead. So they started dimming the flashlight, and tell you if you want full brightness, you have to use Duracell batteries only.

Logic would dictate that a design like that would be ineffective at killing comparitively to the resources spent on construction. Give us more of the dark apocalyptic future we saw in Terminator 2. It had the perfect atmosphere, that's what we want to see.
Give us the survival, the moving at night only to reduce detection, run down, living in tunnels metro 2033 styled movie. Do NOT give us the fighting a giant humanoid robot during daylight. During the day, thermal imaging would be less effective but visual optics would easily identify movement. At night, yes, thermal technically would operate better due to higher contrasts in temperatures, but there's ways to mess with that, and blasting infrared light everywhere to see your targets gives away the location of the machine, so that's what I think we expect as viewers, mostly night time, living in tunnels survivalists fighting the machines, just like we saw in terminator 2.

This has created situations where the next morning a women doesn't remember, when she might have actually be inviting for it the night before, and calls rape.
The amount of damage to women's credibility that even one false claim does is massive, as an example of the comments on Slashdot.
The really sad part is because of that, many women do not report when they're really raped, for fear of the stigma or people thinking it's false.
So although it might be a case of looking like support for rapist, it's really just confusion over a few false claims that have done massive damage over the legitimacy of the claims.
You're confused with 'Not interested' and 'I'm going to hurt someone for it'. Anyone can believe people are on their side for a discussion, deciding to harm other people and so fourth is a completely different subject, regardless of your reasons.

Sex changes are for sociological purposes, therefore I commented on something of one of the aspects relating to sociological interactions between persons.

People want to use the new gender they are's facilities. A toilet is a toilet. We separate based on gender for sex / sexual related reasons in a sociological setting. It's not a requirement based on the physical specifications of either gender.

It's also disappointing that you assume I've never 'given this thought before' I know transgender people, I've worked with them. In fact, one was a male when I originally started working with them, and was female before I left the work place (Please, don't even go there, it was not related)
They were treated with the same respect as anyone else.

Wireless fixtures E.G X-10 modules already exist. If you're wiring your home that you own, I would recommend a long term well planned system put in such as wireless switches, touchless ones and other things that when painted over are unoticable, but work, like Star Trek - Just swipe hand over wall, light comes on, touch nothing.
If you're living in a place that's rented, you may not wish to rewire their light switches etc, so a wifi / wireless light may be more convenient for you. You'll have the ability to simple take the light with you should you move. As for the comment about perm circuitry, LED lights last an exceptionally long time over conventional light bulbs (Conventionally being incandescent).

I fully believe that in general, regardless of any choices that do not harm or even affect others, people should be treated with a reasonable

Should the government be required to collect your beliefs, that you're a women or man now, based on your surgery? Honestly, way above my pay grade.
For me personally, a persons genetic gender and characteristics from birth are what *I* choose to use to define what gender they are to me, and how I will interact with them.
It doesn't mean that I will hate them or couldn't be friends with them, but for me personally I wouldn't be interested in being sexually involved with them.
I don't like that there are some transgender people who feel I shouldn't know, and just base it on what I "think" they are , or what they believe they are.
To go to the extreme, if I surgically alter myself to make me look like your lover, should you just accept that I am, or should you know that I'm not really?

Before you flame that, I'm not saying people are right for doing it, but you're doing the same thing on a different subject.
I have actually met, known and still know a transgendered person. They were actually full of mental issues, emotionally, chronic liar, thief and many other things.
So some people might be speaking from personal experience if they have something negative to say about an experience, that it's not a potential or theoretical one.
Fortunately I'm not closed minded, and I know their gender change had nothing to do with their personality issues. Or rather to be specific, their personality issues were not caused by their gender change. Although in a work place, government setting (As it's people for people) there should not be descrimination, but if you want to fix transgender rights, you need to fix male / female rights in general. If everyone had the same privledges, it would be fine.
As for day to day people, they should be allowed to have preference not to date or be involved with a transgendered person, just as they can choose not to be involved with a particular religion as it clashes with their own religion / beliefs, and just let each other be.

I'm confident that they COULD do a proper salute to Terminator 2 by not making the fifth movie completely crap.
He did an amazing job in other movies, Total Recall as an example. He plays his role well, as long as they get a director that knows how to make
the most of him. James Cameron should direct it. It should be a continued story from Terminator 2, ignoring some of the plot devices in the 3rd and 4th one.
Like the giant human like robot? Really? Logic would dictate that a design like that would be ineffective at killing comparitively to the resources spent on construction.
Give us more of the dark apocalyptic future we saw in Terminator 2. It had the perfect atmosphere, that's what we want to see.
Give us the survival, the moving at night only to reduce detection, run down, living in tunnels metro 2033 styled movie.
Do NOT give us the fighting a giant humanoid robot during daylight.
During the day, thermal imaging would be less effective but visual optics would easily identify movement.
At night, yes, thermal technically would operate better due to higher contrasts in temperatures, but there's ways to mess with that, and
blasting infrared light everywhere to see your targets gives away the location of the machine, so that's what I think we expect as viewers, mostly night time, living in tunnels survivalists fighting the machines, just like we saw in terminator 2.
