Right, but it costs more to send the ads then the text. So it'll cost them more to send the bigger ads. Which means when you pay, They'll be getting your money and saving on bandwidth costs.

Why don't they just sell t-shirts or something, I'd rather pay $25 for a t-shirt than this, as at least with this I get a t-shirt and not just stiffed.

So, what we have here is this paradoxal existence: Charge the people that keep your site running and full of content.

&nbsp&nbsp Legos were by far my favorite toy when I was a kid. The reason was because it was a fun challenge to see if you could make something with just 20 (or so) basic pieces (of course then there were the specialty legos which there are now a million and a half) But if these allow you to make any shape, what's the point? It takes all the challenge and imagination out of looking at that pile of disjunct legos on the floor and seeing what it could be: a Deluxe Super Moon Skimmer with missle ports... oh and a... It was fun cause it was hard and it took your imagination. I kinda pity the kids who grow up today (or didn't grow up) without legos. Those were the happy years (this is kind of ironic as I am only 20 but hey)

I am a Sophmore (First year student with credits of a Soph) at the Colorado School of Mines, which it happens does not have a Computer Engineering major. So, I decided to go with an Electrical Eng. and Computer Science Dual Major. My goal has always been a Computer Engineering degree, which I plan to persue as a grad student. So I'll walk out of college with 2 B.S.'s (EE and CS) and a Masters in CE..... It'll just be impossible to find a job : p

But anywho, I think you really need to look at what you want to do... Many colleges look at Com Sci as programming only, and if you want to do that, there's your major. However if you want to actually build and design Com Eng (which is much akin to Elec Eng) is your best bet. If you don't know I would really say go for a CE, you'll be much more marketable, as you can do more than just program, and you will pick up programming on the way. But hey that's just me.

What if people vote under the alias of a dead man?

Oh wait that happened in Chicago during the Kennedy-Nixon election

What if the precinct happened to lose a ballot box in transit?

Oh wait that happened in Florida this year

What if the election officials swap ballots or change results?

My advice? Adapt... Electronic voting is safer, more convient and a hell of a lot more accurate.

I being a Freshman (Sophmore credit-wise) at the Colorado School of Mines see this from the inside... CSM is one o the top Engineering schools in the country (Teaching techniqes have taken from here to places all over the world) The difference is pretty easy to see if you simply look at avg. starting pay for grads... the avg starting pay (this avgs ALL fields from Metallergical Engineering to Com Sci) is 45k and placement rates at 98% within six months... That is just plain impressive... Also College degrees encompass much more than the small fields that IT schools offer. I personally am dual-majoring in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. And I'm really not trying to be egotistical but you put my resume next to that person who got that IT education and there is no comparison. And even stranger I plan on going to grad school and study Computer Engineering and Physics(always been a love of mine). I will end up with a MUCH greater overall education and experience. If I complete my plans I end up with an EXTREMELY marketable resume and my career path is limitless, from programmer to researcher to management I will be qualified to do it all... and if I simply decide to minor in business I'll be set... I feel that a university education will simply take me Much further than not to have one
