  4. But the question is.... on Blender Releases Linux 3D Web Plugin · · Score: 1

Here we go again. Let's release some real cool app, run only on netscape and preferably on linux.
Willy Webmaster notices it, and wants to use it. He creates a real cool 3d web app and puts in front page on corporate web site. One week later, willy is sacked by management because 85% of the visitors were completely unable to view the site.
So, the question is, will there be a COM wrapper to put it in IE??????? Or is it, as I suspect, not worth downloading?

"Nice ap. yeah, reeeeeaaaaalll nice. Next!"

Sure, the costs savings will be tremendous, but what you propose may not be percieved as 'safe' with the public. Sure, it's free, but what's the catch? Is the government to find out? People will bash you that there is no-one responsible(legally) after a crash causes severe data loss.

A few years ago, the BSA tried invading our country (the Netherlands) and sent out thousands of letters to different companies.

It wasn't long before the media picked up on it and the governmnent had to take a side. Their advice was: throw the warnings away. Ignore the BSA. They haven't got any right to invade a company; and the Dutch police will not assist them. I haven't heard anthing from them since.

Too crazy for words. I run my own company (1 employee: myself.) I can't wait for their audit so I can countersue them and have Microsoft pay my salary for the rest of my life.

..'pr0n busters' checking for illegal pr0n on your HD's?

... BIOS manufacturers to check wether I made illegal copies of my BIOS???

... Hollywood to check for DivX??????????

This is too insane for words.
Just one tip. Hide your central servers somewhere SAFE and SECRET, bury the ethernet cables and play a fool.

Though communication is the biggest problem this is true for all software projects that are developed in separate locations.
