...surely, once drivers become used to the 'new' length of yellow they will jump the lights as frequently as they do now. Will they keep increasing the length indefinately?
Green doesn't mean go, it means "go, if the way is clear"...
Out of interest I did an internet search and discovered that these cinemas were showing Toy Story 2 in digital when it first came out; The Odeon Leicester Square, London; UCI Trafford Centre, Manchester; Warner Village Finchley Road, London (both from 11 Feb).
One would hope that there were now more, but there may be even less?
...think I'll point out some of the things I like about the trailer.
The whole look is a hybrid between Episode I and the original trilogy. I particularly like the way they have aged Palpatine - McDiarmid subtly adding the lower lip quiver we associate with the Emperor.
The 1st generation star-destroyer like things, and the ATATs (without heads). Yes, everything is turning grey and Empire like.
Yoda's little floating platform - awesome. Flying R2, it's cheesy - but go little guy!
The clones look fantastic. Notice the squadron leader with the red markings on his helmet.
Christopher Lee.
One lightsaber in each hand - maybe in film three we'll see a dual lightsaber in each hand...
Things I don't like:
Those monkeys with wings from 'Return to Oz'.
Dodgey London accents from the clone guy and the blue-horn guy.
CG Yoda is, well, CG. Nuff said.
Samuel L really is hopeless.
For those of you pointing out all the similarities between the original trilogy, er, hello? You're missing the point completely.
...that a few naturally mutant flies, which as a result are resistant to the radiation sterilisation process, go out into the wild and produce a new generation of sterilisation-resistant flies?
Then they'd be really screwed.
Mind you; you do get really small scalpels, don't you?
I think you should go and have a good wank and reflect on your pathetic, niggling behaviour and then slit your wrists.
No, I'm sorry, I'm sorry; just slit the one wrist as it will take much longer.
As you lie in a pool of your own blood, consider how unimportant it was for you to pick up on someone's "gramer" in a pointless slashdot article about packing an apple computer in a cardboard box to be shipped by UPS.
You will retain much more credibility by not responding to this post.
I'm really happy with my degree and my life right now. But reading that sent me into a spiral of despair. It just goes to show that your staite of mind is easily fliped.
Its all too easy to moap about squalering in your own piss; just frikin' stop it, ok.
Is your CS degree bringing your happiness down, or is your lack of happiness bringing CS down? If its CS, it'll all be over soon and everything will be fine and rosey again. If not; you're totally screwed if you don't do something about the other problems in your life RIGHT NOW!
Any plans to re-use the original DooM music, but recorded using 'real' instruments.
I, personally, think that that would be the bomb.
I long to hear Episode 1 Level 1 played by somebody.
Pewter. That inexpensive alloy you can by for nowt at a scrap yard.
The work in these has gone into the design of the original model, and the time taken to polish them up after casting.
I think the intrinsic value is more like $15, so $29.95 would be a fair price...

Ah, you're right, he is a kiwi isn't he! ;o)

There is a big fight scene in an arena. With a big monster. Most of the jedi get their ass' kicked.
...but it could have been at least half the size...
...this isn't about profit; it's about giving you a choice.
/. still gets money from the advertisers. It's totally up to you if you want to block the adds or not...
If nobody subscribes then
I'm sorry, I was asking a question. Thanks for the answer, albeit a sarcastic one.
It's no wonder scientists are so undervalued if they all have the same atitude as you.

...in proposing to everyone called Kathleen Fent :)
Best of luck, may your children wear very thick spectacles!
Converting the starving into 'non-starving', eh?
Great idea.
Now they can live the suppressed and depressed lives of everyone else in South America, Africa and most of Asia.
If you spend your life worrying about the unfortunate on this planet (which the vast majority are) then you won't have had a life.
That would be a selfish waste.
What would do these people more good in the long run:
A tonne of grain, or a tonne of condoms?
OMG.
How many other Troll freaks will this thread attract?
From the way you had worded your attack it seemed you were the same sarcastic prick as the initial reply.
;o)
I am terribly sorry.
It appears that you are another sarcastic prick.
As am I
Boy, you sure are clever.

Good night to you, sir.
I'm afraid not my English-language-abusing American friend.
Mac' is short for Macintosh. You are obviously unaware that the primary use of an apostrophe is to indicate the omission of letters or numbers.
...Dodgey Mac's. They're just not built to last.

Kodak are pulling out of 35mm film production within the next couple of years.
Fuji have them licked in every aspect.
Thank you all ;-)
Thank you all ;-)
Fuck it.

You can only get a 45% colour match in printed materials. Unless you are using hexachrome. www.pantone.com/hexachrome ;-)
Point taken. Infact, I forgive you ;-)
