Hasn't Google already indexed and crawled.SWF files? How would releasing the SWF specification make things any different than before, when there were other widely available free SWF parsing libraries?
I bought the Intel D201GLY2A Motherboard with preinstalled Processor, a 1GB stick of ram, two serial ATA hard drives, then re-used an old computer case. Then I installed Ubuntu on it. I also installed BackupPC on it as well.
Quit misusing the word "Antisocial". Antisocial means you're a psychotic criminal who harms people or goes against society. The word you want is "Asocial".
I'm sure it would be nearly impossible to hide the evil code here, because anything that isn't a simple assignment loop is suspicious. Maybe stick in stuff in the image loader, image temporary copy code, and keep the blackener to the obvious implementation, then stick stuff in the saver.
I thought some crazy stuff involving function pointers as the function to call to return a black pixel might be promising. Maybe use some out of bounds array math to change one function pointer to point to some other code.
Super Castlevania IV on the SNES introduced the ability to do tricks with the whip by moving the control pad while holding down the Whip button. I wonder if a Wii version would allow you to whip the Wii-mote for a swing action, then do more whip tricks by flailing the Wii Remote around?

Do you really think that applying some lossless compression algorithm to a heavily compressed video file will save space? Un-rar your damn stuff. It doesn't get any smaller from being inside a.rar file.
Stay away from the third party "DD-WRT" firmware if you use any form of P2P. Due to some unresolved bugs in the firmware, any form of BitTorrent makes the router completely unresponsive, not even responding to the router's web interface.
The Ulteo Logo looks like a dead ringer for Konami's old logo. I guess this means you need to press Up Up Down Down Left Right Left Right B A to get the thing to boot properly?
Why on earth would a spambot care about a robots.txt file? Only reason I could think of was something popular a while ago, where people stuck a non-very-visible link on a website which generated loads of fake linked web pages, and garbage email addresses to try to trap harvesters in that section of the website.
The only thing really protecting you is that your solution is not standard, so bot writers have to treat your website differently, so they won't be as easily able to post there. The instant your solution becomes more commonplace, bot writers will be able to parse your SWF files, read the images, or do whatever else it takes to solve it.
It's a classic case of Security through Obscurity, and this time it works.
However, SWF files have accessibility issues, and there are always people who love to block them.
It's not just email, it's also message boards, blog posts, and wikis. Those also have bots crapflooding them with spam. Bots don't even need to post a URL to get people to visit, they'll just stick in a stock ticker symbol for pump and dump scams, so methods involving blocking new users from posting URLs will still fail.
Covert channels FTW. Make it look like you're doing normal internet communication, but instead encode an encrypted and error-corrected binary stream in the form of intentional packet timing jitter.
Wait a minute... Didn't Alex Chiu master how to extend longevity years before this guy did?
You just described Windows 95/98/ME. The NT series of windows is not a "Shambolic heap of MSDOS".
I looked at the PDF. Significant parts of it were unreadable on Foxit Reader! Are any other .pdf readers having trouble?

Which program other than RealPlayer (since G2) does SVG animation?
I bought my stuff just before the Atom went on sale.

That has more to do with using crappy chipsets in the motherboard than the form factor itself.
I once wrote a paper for a class about the importance of adopting nuclear power. If Obama is against this, I'm voting McCain.
"Flash Video" is nothing more than MPEG 4 video in a different container. It's about as proprietary as XVID.

Demand for gasoline means the entire supply of ethanol would last that long.

How about Wild Tangent bundled games that come with many PCs? Those trip up the spyware detectors too.

I'd like to see the rationale for creating yet another new packaging system. What's wrong with the current ways, and what will the new way fix?

Mario Kart DS has plenty of Hitlers on online multiplayer mode.
Can you get a similar gravity situation on Earth by having the chemical reactions happen in free fall?
