    Isn't caring more about what they thought would make them more money than making great content what killed the show in the first place? Anybody who says capitalism and art are friends is insane. Obvious example: RIAA.

    What makes all of that bunk is that the creaters WANTED to continue the show. They had a whole bunch of ongoing storyline unfinished. Every one of them complained. The episodes were only getting better and better. Watch the last half of the last season. It's approaching high art.

    Theoretically the registrars doleing out .com, .net etc domains could be contractually forced to ensure that no content "harmful to minors" appears on any website using one of these domains.

    You're right. It's not so much that it makes sense to programmers, but that programming tends to help one go "oh yea... the official rules of English don't make any fucking sense, do they?" Smart people want to express themselves better, dumb people who want to make themseves feel smart want to have correct grammar.

    Not that I'm talking about you, of course. ;-)

    I know I'm just being immature, but you're a p0s3r audiophile. On decent headphones, certain songs (hard rock, for instance) just sound lousy in anything but lossless.

Warriors can now throw axes! Mog Lockers will be able to hold 140 items!) brings with it jeers or cheers from those players in the audience that will see their character's social stock increase or decrease as a result.

    Why do we want to listen to a non-gamer talk about FFXI? All you WoW players know you would be just as excited.

    You could try asking yourself what the point of the list is before you dismiss it. Muslims, as a group, are demonized. So they list contributions by Muslims as a group. It's not rocket science (no pun intended).

    I'm not sure....would maybe Firefox have more overall users? Seems that it's on 80-90% of Linux boxes, plus an ever growing number of Windows machines and other OS's as well.

    I noticed that too. A better phrase would be that Linux is "the program most responsible for popularizing the GPL."

    Forgive me for being the atheist I am, but noting that the Bible calls for stoning your misbehaving brats isn't an example of looking for an excuse, if you're a Christian. On the contrary, a Christian ignoring that part is in a state of denial.

    Do note that I'm not nearly as anti-religious as I sound. Any claim that Islam is a terrorist religion is pure, vile racism. I just felt like letting that out.

    I completely agree, but that's not an argument that'll be convincing to most people. A better argument would be: How can it be stealing when you fucking paid for the software?
