No one is writing new applications on VMS/MAINFRAME these days the problem with them is the lack of interfaces to easily access the data.... what's the point of warehousing data if its very complex to access ?

IBM Websphere at my prior company I was a WebSphere Admin for about 2 years its extremly stable on Sun Solaris, We used Netscape Enterprise Servers, Load balancing and cluster is just awesome, I have no complains about WebSphere other than its a Memory Hog our machines ran about 4 appservers 512mb of mem each WebSphere eats this up in no time, One of the features I liked about websphere 3.x was the TCL interface to the WebSphere Repository I Was able to write some very cool monitoring scripts, Right now @ my current job we use WebLogic which is also another nice product I dont know enough about Weblogic at the moment to state any good/bad news about it but from what I see its very functional and stable.
