So, i know this is troll, and i also know that calling myself a troll will get me modded as not a troll, so there.
My question's simple...
Can we get the BSA to defend the GPL for us? They are, IIRC, a government sanctioned operation with some legal powers (although funded and in all reality owned by M$ and others).
Can we use the BSD to show it's true colors by demanding that they also defend the GPL, thereby pushing thier 'self destruct' button?
Just a fleeting whim... "I've seen plays that were more exciting than this.
This is what I got...
Cracked-my-ass-up!
Sorry! You and all your friends wanted to see this site -- All your friends got here first.
Needless to say, the server is smoking.

Just wait 'til Linus gets pissed at all the world and starts snatching all the domains with "linux" in it... He does own the copywrite. "I've seen plays that were more exciting than this.
OK, I could give a fsck about mod points, so I'll not dodge my identity to answer you...
look at freedom 3 again. I'm not a FSF junkie, I'm simply correcting the point made. The freedom to improve the program, and release your improvements to the public, so that the whole community benefits. (freedom 3). Access to the source code is a precondition for this.
If you are the original author, of course you have the freedom to improve the program. Let me rephrase freedom 3 so you understand it. Access to the source code is mandatory for the public to be able to release improvements to it, so that the whole community benefits.
Does this help? (Yeah, I know, I'm the troll, right?)
Let's take Sullivan's example of code possibly being considered a poem. Have a look at the source for Crystal Space(http://crystal.linuxgames.com). This is a modern-day Milton. Jorrit has taken a "bee in his bonnet" and turned it into the most beautiful, expressive, and obvious code I've seen available in an Open Source project. This code should be studied by anyone wanting to write code, cross-platform or not. Just as Paradise Lost is studied by everyone expected to know the "classics."
As for the argument that it's not speech to anyone but hackers: Paradise Lost was not written in English. Let's jump back to before it was translated into our lanquage. Was it still a poem? Yes. Is C a lanquage? Yes. Is Paradise Lost functional? It was meant to be. It was Milton's guide to life... albeit symbolic.
Just because something is written in a language you don't understand, that doesn't give you the right to label it as anything but speech.
If someone can point me to any video-footage, hell, even if it's not DivX;-). Even if it's QuickTime, I can't find anything on them sans a few mentions on some off-beat sites.
was that they were the ones that coined the phrase "Indecision 2000"...
Months before anyone knew of the debauchery that was about to occur! Good going guys! Congrats Jon, you must feel vindicated for that MTV debacle.
So, when I get that PHAT new augmentation to my brain, with P2P and Tivo(TM) built in...
I'm running GNOME on it, cuz KDE sucks! I don't want to find out that Trolltech has changed back to proprietary control over Qt and owns my thoughts and memories!
Although vague, I believe the formula is to find the inverse point of any point in a triangle...
By not inversing the reciprocal on the formulae for parellel lines, he finds the inverse of the point created by the perpendicular lines off the sides of the triangle. Pretty neat napkin trick.
Alex 23/02/20 9:02 pm But everything is OK. I'm able to create many campaign a days, to get stats, to improve, or reduce numbers of ads viewed per day on a campaign... well I can do the most important. I wonder what the hell that means! If it means what I think it means this is going to be damning evidence of number tampering... Do IRC logs hold up in court?
IIRC, the sat collection cost $8M/month to run. They have already set a two year gov contract for $72M which covers six months of operational costs. They seem to have set themselves up as a wholesaler otherwise; currently having twelve resellers. That makes a lot of sense to spread the operating cost onto them while taking in initially (probably) small contracts from them. This really does have the chance to work, especially if they get the renewed gov contract in two years... which is likely considering gov spending.
I realize that both of your UIDs are under five digits; but I must interject. She can post whatever she likes here, as can you sir. The problem with your response, however, is that it's attacking someone who is adding to the discussion in a positive way. If your problem is that she is somehow wasting your time by not supplying what you wanted to read, well then you certainly wasted a hell of a lot more by responding. Wouldn't it have been a lot easier to simply scroll through it?
If your problem is that she gets modded-up simply because she's female, well, that's not her fault, it's the moderators. They tend to be nice to the women, as there are very few around here. I see no evidence that she mods herself up. Just get over it...
Anit harm none, do what ye will, ya know?
BTW, last time we got her home, I made her give me any info she could about the place and wrote it all down... So if you're a cop, and feel like doing something about it (or a junkie needing a fix), here's a bit more info...
The basic area runs between roosevelt and 18th St. on Ashland, the complex is behind "Pete's" little run-down hot dog shack. About six or so months ago, the guys watching the doors were called MeMe (4th flr 1520), WeWe (Security for 1433) and Cuelyn (1433 apt 901). Their code was "Get Little" for cops and "Coolaid" for clear, or all good. Also, there's supposed to be a little FUCK called Delaney who raped Mia last time she was there.
Peace.
Better yet, print this forum and send it to them... Kill two birds with one dead tree...

It's nice to read a refreshingly new angle on this otherwise recockulous issue!

omfg rofl, that's pretty funny! If you're not kidding, you really should stop reading /., you're getting way too paranoid.

And was wondering why I should download 2 CDs whose sum is 655MB... they couldn't have packed more on the second or less (5MB) on the first??
Hmm.
Actually, I think he meant something like:
Between all the bad news Linux companies have seen lately.
Although vague, I believe the formula is to find the inverse point of any point in a triangle... By not inversing the reciprocal on the formulae for parellel lines, he finds the inverse of the point created by the perpendicular lines off the sides of the triangle. Pretty neat napkin trick.
I would just like to point out that HAL stands for Hilareous Assenign Lamers pointing out the same damn thing!

I should have really hit preview... yes, yes, nine months. ;)

OMFG that was funny. I love segfault! Mod me down and ^him^ up please.
Very well said sir. :)
Now if we could just deliver THE killer app...

This would be a much better point, and smell less of FUD, if you could provide a link...
What about the archiving of things like LUG mailing lists?
