But it's not E3 without The G.O.D. Parking lot and mexican hot dog vendors. Both of which won't be there in 2009. It's like going to Disneyland when everything is down for maintenence.
No midgets, strippers, boxing nuns, booth babes, press lunches, drinkin with dev's. The only thing this has in common with E3's of past is that it's in the same building and that Kentia hall will still probably be the ass end of the expo.
But how would someone go about Learning ViM? For the five years I've been using linux I've been using PICO. I'm digging through ViM now and beginning the download. I'm hoping for a tutorial or a very descriptive readme on interface.
Simple, get multiple video feeds and stream 'em. Charge if you want to. That oughta get some cycles going. If you really want to push it, use one of those free java streaming video apps that'll bog the server AND the client!
Anyone remember roguetrader.com? That's basically this thing from 12 years ago. I made a fortune off of Art Bell XD
Put Ubuntu with Folding@Home on it. Boot any old computers you have hanging around into folding machines without actually installing an OS.
Which OS is that one running? Did all the people who bought their new phone get the shaft?

I just remembered in the movie "My Stepmother is an Alien" Kim Basinger talks about using spinach to warm her hands.
Too bad that machine isn't even fast enough to run HL2. Otherwise it'd be XXXTREEM!

BOOYAAA!! Hey, why didn't this show up on the front page?
Yeah, sorry he's got it running here in Portland. So only us west coast freaks can watch it. :)

It wasn't as off as hearing him say "Yippie Kiyaaa Melon-Farmer!" In the network (no naughty words) version.
