I remember seeing that on the F3 north of Sydney, back in the 80s.
They're put the aerial speed check signs and road markings back now, but I don't think they actually do any flying. The 'aerial speed check' location just happens to be right next to Warervale Airport - so motorists see a cessna coming in to land, and slow down.
The Appliance has a bunch of limitations (like not working with View Composer, etc).
It also isn't available anymore. There was a 5.0 version, however with the release of 5.0U1, there is only the Windows version - "vCenter Server Appliance 5.0 Update 1 will be available later this year." Link
Last time i flew SYD-LAX (2006), there was another screening just before the gate, only for the USA flights. Full pat-down search and bag inspections for everybody.
Surely there's some more Presidents out there: how about FDR or JFK? I don't think they have any carriers named after them (if there's some other ship named after them, they could just rename it).
I was thinking about buying Mikrotik, but the lack of OpenVPN UDP support combined with all the problems my friend is having with his & IPv6... I'll stick OpenWRT on one of these: http://wiki.openwrt.org/toh/tp-link/tl-wr1043nd
And what with all people using GPS with traffic avoidance build in it.
Does that actually work? I have a GPS with traffic, and live in Sydney. I'm yet to see the traffic avoidance actually work. It tells me there's traffic up ahead, when there isn't. It tells me there's no traffic when there's a crash up ahead.
So yeah, it gets it backwards. The name of the traffic info provider is SUNA Traffic. Guess what SUNA backwards is...

Smallest in 10 years, you say?
Here's a story blaming the ozone hole for TOO MUCH ice

There's been an aerostat in the Florida Keys for, what, decades?
Not for much longer. http://www.miamiherald.com/2013/01/23/3196194/drug-tracking-fat-albert-blimp.html
Maybe they're moving it to DC?
I have a static IPv4, they just can't yet offer static v6
I have a whole bunch of /64's in my /48. The problem is they keep changing every time pppoe reconnects.
Yesterday I had 2406:e000:e26c/48, today I have 2406:e000:e317::/48
I'm guessing you use Internode? I used them when I lived in Sydney, theyr'e great.
And they've decided that everybody gets a static /56 now.
But it doesn't keep ISP's from moving to permanent, static IP addresses.
I wish my ISP could offer me static IPv6, but they currently can't do it!. Right now I have a dynamic /48....
It isn't just their cheap stuff. One of my Cisco 877s started randomly rebooting.
The two large caps on the board were faulty, so I replaced them and now it works perfectly.
virtualisation often has issues with timekeeping. I wouldn't run an NTP server on a VPS.
Sydney Harbour doesn't get earthquakes. Solid standstone a long way from the edge of the plate.
But yeah, this new cable is only about 100m from the bridge, and a couple of hundred metres from the tunnel.

DSL is distance limited, dumbass. 15,000 feet from the CO is theoretically possible, but will suck eggs.
I have a DSL service 20,000 feet from the CO. It syncs at 6 megabit/sec.
Does a blank DVD has the same value as a movie DVD? Of course not, the movie DVD is more valuable
Depends on the movie.. at least you can put your own content on a blank :)

My first two digital cameras were Kodak (DC210, DX4530). My last two were Canon (350D, 5D2).

Apparently CVN-79 will have the same name.
I'm not sure they've named any other carriers after Presidents who were in the Navy.
JFK, George HW Bush?
Stennis did a lot for the Navy as a Senator.

"expected": So it could fail today or tomorrow.
So will some humans.

APNIC will be first.
I have a Cisco 877 at home running native IPv6, using the Advanced IP IOS image.
I installed a new 877 this week for a client, and was surprised that the Advanced Security IOS image lacks IPv6 support.
You have to pay extra for IPv6 at cisco. pathetic.
dual radio (2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz simultaneously so I could separate my G from N)
IPv6 support

Fair enough, in engines GE > RR > P&W. But my point still stands - all have good reputations
You haven't been reading the news in the last week or so, have you? :)
True, but most XP clients won't need DHCP6.
Address assignment can be handled by RA. Sure, you lack the ability to assign v6 DNS servers, but XP doesn't do v6 DNS anyway.
The one place I do use DHCPv6 is obtaining my /60 prefix from my ISP. You'd need Dibbler for that if you were crazy enough to run XP on your router :)
