It's only the really pig headed militiristic cultures that don't, the US being the largest meat head on the block. Even moslems recognize the god of abraham as their god.

this is only true of roman catholic christianity and specifically the farce that is christianity in the US.

It's funny to always see US'ians discussing with authority over their own twisted descriptions as if they had the answer to everything.

Hint, most of the world thinks your fanatical views (both science and religion) are whacked. I wonder when US'ians will wake up and realize that their view of reality isn't the only one and perhaps not even close to the correct one.

Don't be dumb, obviously the answer is not spreading it out, like fallacies much? The garbage isn't the problem, it's inanimate. The problem is people generating and consuming non-biodegradable products and then disposing of them in a manner that insures that they won't breakdown for centuries to come even if there is biodegradable stuff inside.

This way students can carry around their PI's and just plug them into any available computer.

What everybody seems to be missing is the simple fact that unsustainable lifestyles are unsustainable, and increasing consumption of finite reserves is unsustainable. It really doesn't matter if it's in 2030, or if the model precisely matches reality (it is only a model after all) the fact that remains is that if you continue on an unsustainable course you will not be able to sustain it!

Those who don't understand history are doomed to repeat it. Every civilization has collapsed because of some form of unsustainability and then been reduced to a simpler more sustainable way of living. We either design and engineer this 'collapse' into a simpler way of living or we'll have to accept the period of anarchy that will ensue.

Don't worry, the second foundation will take care of it! (that's a joke!)
