    there are four ports on the top of the system for gamecube controllers. ps3 and xbox360 have the same controller design as their previous generation. nintendo will just continue to sell gamecube controllers. wavebirds will work too.

    It's a New England elite thing, it's just part of their gear.

    Its common in the south too. Ties can get boring, and bow-ties are not necessarily old fashioned. Any department store or brooks brothers, menswear, etc would have plenty for sale and probably new designs every year.

    Spam Gourmet works great too. It lets you setup virtual forwarding addresses that remain active for a specified amount of time. This is especially useful for sites and services that require and email activation, etc.

    Obviously a Google News-driven Slashdotting was in effect (pun intended).

    First of all, the use of "effect" in this story posting is hardly a pun and certainly not humorous. Secondly, I am really can't stand the hackneyed usage of "pun intended" or "no pun intended" especially when it refers to such a weak pun as this one. So either learn how to craft a clever pun or stop calling attention to your feeble attempts.

    ClearType, the font smoother that is designed especially for lcd screens, is now fully integrated into windows. I think its a great reason to upgrade to xp, it makes a huge difference on my flatpanel.
