Very true , most programmers are overawed with their own achievements that they forget other people's achievements and therefore their rights on what they achieve. I create something great and someone else steals it without a thank you- which in these times means money- is very ungenerous I feel.

  5. America is going to have couch pumpkins on Sony plans to release new toy: Airboard · · Score: 2

If this is true, we are going to have not couch potatoes but couch pumpkins. As it is, a large population is already overweight with eating chocholate and sitting with their TV remotes. And now this, they'll never get out of their seats and grow huger by the day. Maybe they should start manufacturing seats with some agitator or exerciser so that their bodis can work while they are vitually bound to their seats.

  6. FREE PUBLICITY THY NAME IS BANNING BOOKS on Foil-The-Filters Contest · · Score: 1
Yes free publicity is what authors of banned books get. Most them are just average and some are downright rubbish . Take for example this book called "Lajja" from Taslima Nasrin, the Bangladeshi author who it seems had her life threatened. I read her book, it was nothing but some news clippings of communal violence in Bangladesh , put toghether in a haste. Worst of all even the clippings were repetitive. It was pain to read the so called book . I would call it a scrap book put toghether by someone who could barely read and write.

After that experience it takes me a long time to actually get around to reading such books.

Intel also increased the speed of its fastest Celeron chip from 650 MHz to 700 MHz. Intel's Celeron family is designed for lower-cost notebooks.

I am sure any bank would be very concerned with its reputation and aware of its competition, and will take more pains to ensure that its online customers get adequate security. After the leek of such reports many an employee and heads of E-divisions would have been grilled by the banks. Where income and survival is concerned the online banks themselves will prove to be their own police and insure customer data.
