    A year ago it was call .NET server... there was .NET this... .NET that... these .NETs in your mouth... lalala... well I downloaded a 45MB patch for my win2k box then a service pak for it... and I still don't have even the faintest idea WTF .NET or what Windows Server 2003 means to it... obviously not a whole lot given the description... can somebody please define .NET and just what the hell Windows Server 2003 does for it?

    ...and I'm not... I can't stand trying to get any amount of work done on my computer with people constantly "blinging" me... you're online... great, peace see you tonight after work.. whatever. Most of my friends don't have an admin job so they don't know why it's a pain... and I don't feel like explaining it to them either, so I simply don't sign on... AIM is my primary, however, with msn being the secondary... which I can't stand... In fact messenger sucked so bad on XP I'm back to 2000 (just one reason, however) Give me a choice to sign damnit, Bill, before I get blinged to death by my porno watching jobless buddy who have no real work to do on a computer! "hey check out this url!" Ok maybe I'm a little over the top... We use sametime at work... which will link to AIM which is nice... but I still think e-mail is the best way to get in touch with someone... it's more formal... AIM I use only if I've got to get in touch with somebody quickly for something important... that's it...

    No... it's the chipset.... at least that's what I've heard... plus I've got about 15 trillon pci cards that support about 15 trillion different devices...
    Win2k works fine for everything... I hope AMD comes out with another atlon board to fix all this... with a 333 fsb... that would be nice... Tyan rma's boards like mine 5 times a day so the rummor goes

    ...are blue screens... which strangely increase my aplication time on my Mac... go figure!

    Seriously... XP pro blue screens all the time on my Dual athlon box... I heard it was issues with the AMD chipset... win2k, however works just fine...

    It's way too easy to set this up... point, click, there's your file.. did you kill anybody? No. Did you steal anything tangable like a car? No. Yet the law can enoforce punishment like it is... It's a classic adam and eve don't eat the fruit test... way to much temptation... way to easy... just like from the beginning nobody can resist forever. It's a problem that will not go away until it's legalized. How can you possibly stop it? Way to easy to set up a file server that anybody can connect to... I don't see a solution.

    I'm having trouble believing that Mr Gates actually said this... wtf is a service pak? Bugs fixed is *exactly* the reason I buy an new operating system. I download every damn security update possible... A bug fixed in a new release *is* a new feature!!! Why? It's something the last version could not do! Duh! Let's not lose focus on what is the objective of new software in the first place... a *solution*!

    I never find it cool to find a bug in my system... getting hacked either... but damned if it doesn't come up in conversation all the time! A bug in my system is a technical issue dealing with my system... not a subjective opinion about the operating system... if everybody's talking about the bugs in the operating system it's good because more attention to an issue fixes more problems.
