I didn't see this mentioned yet so thought I drop a link to ELGG, a very nice GPL PHP social network platform. Its mature, featured, and has a good support community. Check it out:

I actually bought the $20 sticks-n-switches bundle a while ago, and while it's not the REAL real thing, they are decent reproductions, with decent microswitches. The springs in the sticks are a little tight in my opinion, and they have very narrow "diagonal" ranges, but they still play like champs and feel very solid.
I just finished coding my own xmame front-end, check it out here: http://woz.gs/gorf/ There are pics of the $20 bundle in there:)
If the PStwo comes with ilink(firewire) and/or usb ports, then there is still hope. Sony may enable use of external drives. Then again maybe not, for fear of piracy, arrrrrrrrrrr. (Sorry, I missed talk like a pirate day, arr)
Also I think ps2 mod chips already let you "make use" of external usb storage.
That promise was "write once run anywhere". How is that possible when sun breaks java into several "editions"? When vendors take those and "extend and enhance"?
Java, javascript, jscript, ecmascript, jboss... The list goes on and on.
Straight C with makefiles is more portable now than java. We can program hp calcs with c right? Where's java?
Also their marketing department is high on crack. Java 1.2 = java2? Next up, Java5 ?! WTF!!!
Let me offer up a simple analogy. Today's OS market is like a parking lot with 99 Toyotas parked with engines running and doors wide open (WINDOWS), and 1 Porsche locked up with Viper (MAC OS). What does the car thief take? A vulnerable Toyota obviously.
Ok, lets switch it up. What if 99 cars were Porsches with Viper, and 1 car was a Toyota with the doors open and engine running. What does the car thief take? There are more Porsches, why doesn't he take the Porsche??
Like cowbutt said, you can get cheap USB pads like Logitech in the $5 price range. Also, beware the cheaper PS2-USB converters, I bought a pair and they have a very noticeable delay between button-press and game response. Try before you buy...
If you catch my drift
F*** yeah.
What's halfway between a Tick and a Tock?
FINALLY
Lets just patent the patent system and sue the world
this method is way better

AMD 8222 cpu = $2149
Intel 5160 cpu = $851
The AMD system will be obsolete before you realize any "cost savings".
Also you don't buy these top dog chips if you're going to let them sit idle all day.
It is elegantly simple, unobtrusive, and everything works as you would expect it to. Which in my eye = BEAUTY.

KAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHN!!!
And as we all know, open source moduals always glue together nicely without any fiddling around. What a bunch of slackers, huh?

Our barely 5 year old BOA branch is using ancient IBM terminals that look like frickin TRS-80's.
that tells me that the men are finding the better deals.
I use throw-away VGA monitors in MAME hardware projects.
too surrealistic.
Creating and sharing ANSI graphics made with TheDraw. Also that "Mad Max" feeling you get from playing Operation Overkill...
The secret is that Intel figured out how to do it... CHEAP.
