How about using the positions of the red, green and blue areas of the pixels as their own mini-pixels to make even smaller fonts?

Granted, it would only work on certain display types.

Now - is it possible to make a Zombie model and transpose it over your actors? Definately. Is that cheaper? Not really. You're paying big bucks not only for the design of the model but the textures, skinning, skeleton work - there's a lot of stuff that goes into this.

Not to mention the fact that a zombie movie with only a single zombie is going to be pretty boring. You're going to want a bunch of them, and you don't want them all identical. Which means you want a bunch of different skins.

I should have added to the original comment that we are also opposed to insanely long copyright terms. Copyright should last 20 years with a one-time, optional 20 year extension.

  12. Re:Speak for yourself, buddy on Cook's Magazine Claims Web Is Public Domain · · Score: 1

Without copyright, what this magazine is doing would become legitimate. Corporations would take the work of individual creators and sell them as their own. The creators would not be able to make any money off of the work because the big corporation is the only source of the creative work that anyone would hear about.
