Lucasarts isn't making it. It's being made by Telltale Games, which is mainly composed of the same people who originally did all the good games from Lucasarts way back when.
They are the same people who recently did two seasons of new beautiful episodic Sam & Max games and are gearing up for a third.
The holy grail would be a fully 3d holographic display projected into the empty air.
Or if you want something that might actually be feasible, a headmount that projects the image directly onto your retina so that it looks like it's floating in the air. Of course that would would be combined with augmented reality technology.
Hmm.. I completely forgot about YM. Back when I used the yahoo chat rooms I only used yahelite. I forget what turned me off of YM in the first place, but I think it was limited to the chat rooms. I think it might have been the huge frickin ads taking up half the window.
I sometimes find myself logging into my email purely as a reflex action. Typing 'ma' in the url bar then down arrow once to highlight mail.yahoo.com, and typing my username and password in before I even realize that I'm doing it.
I wish there was a yahoo email monitor that worked through the system tray. There's a widget, but it sits on the desktop and I hate having things permanently sitting in front of my other windows.
You know when you play any of the Madden games?
Imagine a bunch of guys going out into an actual field and doing that IRL.
Crazy, I know. But apparently it's fairly popular.
Check out the terminally under-hyped "Treasure Planet" (2002) when you get a chance.
They will. But they will be replaced with something even more inane and annoying.
Oh yeah! I completely forgot about those :)
I have to reinstall that game.
Songs?
It's been a while since I played, but I only remember the one.
.... yes.
Old Republic.
I was going to type "new MMO, 'Old Republic'" and somewhere along the line my fingers got confused.
*slaps MetricT*
You shut your filthy whore mouth!
*Crawls under a sheet and screams and cries into a webcam* Leave Manny alone!

Seriously. GF is LucasArts' Magnum Opus. You don't screw with it.
Don't worry. I doubt he gives a damn about it.
If he's concerned with the video games division at all, he's probably too focused on the New Republic MMO.
At least I can enjoy my crappy stories without a thousand dollars worth of hardware
Each of the five episodes takes about two hours to finish (if they are doing it the same as Sam & Max) and you can get the entire season for $35
I highly recommend finishing it. It completely shatters the "third in the series is crap" myth.

Apparently, Microsoft has acquired the domain bingsucks.com.
Damn right!
If it can project the text, then it can project a background for the text too.
Bull.

LCD is traditional?
You mean people actually still use THAC0?
Ok, apparently some people aren't getting the reference. here
Please, don't let the 'new generation of Ghostbusters' consist of a goth girl, a hispanic guy, a guy in a wheelchair, and black mechanic.
I use pidgin. But it doesn't display anything in the systray icon when you have email, does it?

In the same way that an object does not "want" to fall when it is dropped, or a species does not "want" to evolve.
But it will, regardless, simply because that is its natural state.
You have seen this, right?
