Kinect is third party and relies on the Xbox being used I would guess? Makes it a bit more annoying. Anyways, digressing, cameras in TV's must be a wet dream for certain Governments in the west. I mean, the covers are surely going to fall off our lovely democratic capitalist society revealing fascism eventually? Think of them Terorists! You all have the right to your freedom!
Some of you may be right in saying I've read Nineteen Eighty-Four too many times.
The US isn't even a member of CERN. After all, it's a European group, they have an "observer" status however. I highly doubt America gives anywhere near the same level of funding as what the UK, France and Germany provide.
I don't think it is a problem with the CERN model not being recognised, I think it's more just the case of the U.S being huge, CERN is the answer to compete with the U.S. I hate to use the word compete, as I don't believe the way to move science forward is through competition, but hey, we operate under Capitalism at the end of the day.
The fucking hypocrisy. The same newspaper that uses the third page as a beacon of nudity. Why do our MP's even want to hear what she has to say? Britain is screwed.
Remember when the iPad shipped with a Micro-SIM, the main reason was because they didn't want people swapping SIM cards from their iPhones (remembering that Personal Hotspot is disabled with a lot of carriers). What's the point in bringing out lots of standards when they aren't being adopted. I hope the ETSI tells them all to go away until Micro-SIM is actually being widely used first.
What? Obviously I was referring to their governance and not information in articles. There's always places like Fox News to go to if Wikipedia's principles
of neutral and impartial points of view don't appeal to you though.
Brittanica's death isn't Microsoft's fault in the slightest. Brittanica realised that digital was the way forward so looking back, at least they got something right but Encarta just wasn't good enough. Wikipedia's model makes much more sense in our modern day internet world where people collaborate information and make decisions democratically. It's their own fault for executing the move to digital poorly.
I started to read the blog Microsoft wrote, I got as far as reading the title "Google: Please Don’t Kill Video on the Web" and couldn't read any more. Do Microsoft really think all of our memories are that short?
HP feeling sorry for themselves because WebOS failed? Anybody who has the slightest understanding of Google's business model will realise they don't care who is running Android, they want everyone to be using it and will give it away for free to achieve that. Google doesn't make money through licensing, they are an advertising driven company and that's where Android's revenue comes from. It's there for them to build a bigger profile of the consumer so they make more money through their core business.
They are called Gaming PC's. It's a niche market and there is reasons for it. The XBox 360 adding internal WiFi is one thing, changing anything relating to processing power is completely different.
Monopoly? What the hell are you talking about. A monopoly doesn't just consist of a large market share. There is a lot more to it than that. People who do not know the meaning of the word need to stop constantly throwing it around.
See my reply to the other guy who replied to my original comment. I'm sure other companies won't be far behind..

TV's will eventually have cameras in the front, could be a good method of surveillance.
"Don't be evil" (being fastidious), was an motto, suggested by one of their earliest employees which ended up part of the company's philosophy.
Have some brownie points to go towards your 'do no evil' moto, it needs them before it falls down.
keep up. This is days old.

When you are going to dispute the entire basis of the laws of Physics, you need to make sure you're correct if you are going to go public over it.

The Linux kernel guys show that constant steady frequent releases are the way forwards, note to GNOME and KDE guys, you got it wrong.
They become a full nuclear power. Do we sit down and talk, then play nice with them?

I think I might do the same.

They failed to react to changes in their market.

Right, so Google should now ask for money from businesses who have moved up in their rankings?
If that's what Mr Sherman sees as unfair then I want his opinion on this.

Bullshit sir, I run Linux on my IPv6 connection.
All these counties really are broke..
