Mention Charles Darwin, or the irrefutable fact of evolution by natural selection, and religious nuts start spouting. I guess the same thing might happen in Iran.
You guys need to get yourselves out of the dark ages. There's no gods! Didn't you get the memo?

In most companies I've worked for, there wouldn't be standardization on a single language, but rather a list of approved languages, eg - J2EE or.NET for web, perl for unix scripting, C++ for application development, etc. Is this not a more sensible approach?
In fact, the Linux desktop has a lot of advantages over WinXP and OS X, although they do have a polish advantage.
Ah yes, the Polish Advantage. Developed in Warsaw I guess...
Of course most average Joes won't use anywhere near a gig. If this is genuine, the gigabyte thing is more of a gimmick. It'll only be slashdotters and other hardcode user that will ever get anywhere near this amount of storage.
His name was Agrajag, and it was in "Life, The Universe and Everything", and yeah, he was a wonderfully tragic character. He was even the bowl of petunias in the first book, so now we know why it thought "Oh No, not again" as it plumeted toward the ground. Amazing stuff! I too hope they do a good job with this movie, but suspect it'll suck. Here's hoping.
I got this problem too. I think it's a problem with the cache. When I deleted the mozilla cache, it all worked fine again. You should find it somewhere like C:\Documents and Settings\user-name\Application Data\Mozilla\Profiles\default\something.slt\Cache
Close Mozilla, delete the folder, and run mozzy again.
Hope this helps.

It's pretty awful that these guys are being shut down, but at least there's always BBC radio 6: BBC's digital radio channel, which is also tranmitted via streaming real audio. Check it out here .
Yeah, here in Europe (Belfast -N.Ireland to be exact) things have been screwy too. I graduated in 2000, and went straight into work for Nortel Networks,as a telecoms engineer. I lasted about 6 months before they could no longer afford me!
Then I went to work for a smaller local telecoms company called AePONA , but times became hard for them too: made redundant just before xmas (boo!).
I've decided to leave telecoms behind me, and am now working for a bespoke software company Avalanch , and life is grand!.... so far.

There's a vast difference between a question of precision leading to a four hour discrepancy, and the 7 days to 5 billion year lie.

In Ireland we often call them Turf Accountants, so I suppose we *do* have a different word for everything....
It means "The Foundation" or something similar. I believe they got the name from Asimov.
No, my wrong.

You can get Beamish and Murphys in many pubs in Belfast, although Beamish is at it's best in Cork.
