You almost got it right. If you chose to come back to life instantly where you had just died, (in order to hopefully retreave your items) then you lost a fairly large chunk of your skills.
But, if you chose to stay a ghost and go into town to be resurected by a cleric, or by a friend then you incurred no penalty what so ever other than the loss of your items, which if you do things quickly enough you could still manage to get back to and recover.
btw, I played UO non stop for 4 years so yes I know what I'm talking about.
My main drive died yesterday, turned on the computer.. wirrr, click.... wirrr, click. so i took it out of the computer and turned it upside down, gave it a little shake, and walah it spun up. I've managed to back up my data off of it now, and hopefully it'll last till the replacement drive shows up tommarow.
just go to amazon or any other place that sells laptops and go to the "bags/cases" section... it's amazeing what a little common sense will figgure out isnt it?
Well for alot less than this I just have my main Pc hooked up to my soundsystem, then I crank the music, and presto I can hear the music everywhere in my house.... Though it is kind of painful to be anywhere near my pc.. *shrug*
Am I the only one getting sick of NASA constantly screwing up? They say they arent getting enough money but it seems as if they are wasting the money they do get on mishap after mishap, you would think that they would realized that if they stopped screwing up, and wasting our money that maybe they would accually be able to convince congress to give them a larger budged. I dunno, over all I like NASA they just are pissing me off as of late.
