Except for the fact that the Pee Would instantly freeze the second it's outside of the Ship. You know, space is kinda cold. So you might get hit by a chunk of iced over urine, but "everying being covered in urine" is bullshit.
That Limit is pretty high, or at least it is in my area. I know that between my roommate and I our connection is maxed out from downloading various things(and before you assume i'm talking about warez, my friends and I like making stupid movies of all the moronic things we do, so most of that traffic is just us all shareing the latest/greatest clips so we can get to adding them to the collection and editing them.) a good 50-75 percent of the time yet we have never gotten any kind of throttleing or warning from comcast over the past year.
As all the articles said, power and phone lines were all down. Thus no BPL thus the ham operators would have still been able to do their thing during the emergency.
Your new system doesnt play the old games??? What planet are you from, every version of the gameboy ever made was backwards compatable, hell even the DS will play gameboy advance games.. (i think it will also play regular gameboy games as well.. but not posative of this so wont' claim it to be so) So that right there is a good 10 years or so of backwards compatability. Now speaking of computers, go grab any 10 year old game, I bet you'll have a hard time getting the thing to work on a modern operating system without jumping through some hoops first.
Just thought I'd point out a few flaws in your logic while taking a break at work.
Not sure if this would genereate Too much heat, but you could always just make a sealed, or almost sealed case that just recirculates the air inside the case and does not pull in any of the cold air from outside. Seems like this would keep things nice and warm inside the case.
Which you have a right to say. Which was the whole point of the "I Think" part of my statement. Obvously alot of people on slashdot think it's a cool idea. I just think that rehashing someone else's idea for an obsolete system is a waste of time. If he's that smart and that "creative" how about he writes an original game for the NES, or even better yet for a system that is accually still made. Oh yea that's right because then he wouldn't be riding someone else's coat tails and no one would give a shit. As for you thinking that me playing gta is a waste of time, sure i'll give ya that.. but that's kind of a point of a video game.. to dick around waste time and accomplsh nothing real.. accually it's kinda like you bothering to make a commment about my post on slashdot. Accually i'd go as far to say that you wasteing the time to reply to my post is far larger of a waste of time than me playing games. (of course that leads to the line of thinking that the post i'm writing right now is a waste of time.. which it is.. but hey.. i'm at work and bored.)
I work a full time job as a software engineer, I've also written several games and other various applications in my free time. All I was meaning to point out in my previous post is the fact that he's doing all this work for an obsolete system, that the only way you could play his work is if you use an emulator that is technically illegal. If he's that much of a genius I can think of much more productive uses of his time. Also Next time grow some balls and post non AC.
While I give this guy credit for the amouth of smarts and work this has taken. Overall I still think it's a big waste of time, if i want to play a 2d version of gta then i'll just whip out my copies of gta 1 and 2...
Not that I really agree with this patent, or patents in general. But in argueing them could you at least read what you are argueing aginst first? It clearly states in the patent that this only applies to consoles, yet every example of prior art you mentioned in your comment relate to PC gameing which does not fall under the previously stated realm.
Apparently your eyes aren't so great, The Swift Data 200 puts the drives down in the bottem left of the case where the PCI cards would normally go, While the G5Jam puts it's drives in the space between the powersupply and the area where the cards are, suspended off of the case side. These are 2 distinctly different sections of the case. So both kits would in fact fit.
They'll let anyone post comments these days won't they?
Hopefully this will lead someone, anyone to bring back the MUTANT LEAGUE series of sports games, or a knock of of said games. Those were the best sports games ever in my opinion.
I"m just curious, do you live in Texas? Or have you ever even been to Texas? Personally I have lived in Texas the large majority of my life, and while the laws are deffintely in favor of people being allowed to defend themselves, I think you are pushing your stereotype of texas a bit too far.
Trent left the project as it was taking too long and he wanted to get started on a new album. As far as I know none of the work he did will end up in the final game.
Umm, It's pretty clear on their website that if you want more than one external IP then you have to pay more money. Just buy a firewall/router with NAT and poof... you can have as many computers on your home network as you want. And if you get a deacent router it will have port forwrding in case you are running any servers on your boxes.
If you can put electronics in it with no harm, why bother with pumps, just use your regular ole fans to have a nice current if fluid flowing through the case???
The way the article is written, it seems to follow that individual "pushes" are individual stages inside the beta where all players are focused on that one race. For example, during the dwarfen push, all the players could only create dwarfs, and could only adventure in dwarven lands, as to focus all development on that section of the game for that time period.
You completely missed the point of my post.
I am in no way saying windows is better or linux is better. To be honest with you, I've used linux for a total of maybe 5 hours in my entire life. I've just never found much use for it.
My POINT was that the parent passed off his un-informed opinion as fact. I did not, all I did was cite a source with additional information that pointed out the flaws in the parent's statement, and then summed up that his "facts" about windows were in fact flawed.
As for your 24 22"inch displays, all I can say is I wince just thinking about your electrical bill.
Forgive me if I'm mistaken but aren't XFree86, Gnome, KDE, and all the other windowing enviornments for Linux really just 3rd party apps that add functionality on to the OS?
Also personally I'd much rather be having the people who make the hardware handle the multi moniter setup, than have microsoft do it. Last thing windows needs is yet another thing "built in" from scratch.
Yea,

Just thought I'd share my POV
Whodunnit Out...
Not really,
As all the articles said, power and phone lines were all down. Thus no BPL thus the ham operators would have still been able to do their thing during the emergency.

For those of you not in the "know" the book he's quoting is
Wizard's First Rule by Terry Goodkind
The first book in the Sword of Truth Series.

If you hate the cable company so much why do you give them your money?

"like Apple for PCs, is the market leader in video games"
Umm.... there are games for Apple? Since when??
the same picture is on nintendo's home page.. so i'd say it's not fake

You do remember that 3Mbs = roughly 300k/s right? Because Mbs is MegaBITS per second.
Personally I know of a ton of websites that I can get over 300k/s on my cable conneciton.

Or, You could just go to http://www.sysinternals.com/ and then download Autoruns and do it yourself for free.

I could be wrong, but I doubt it.
For those of you that dislike my above link. Here's another option for multi moniter support in windows that is hardware independent.
Here ya go
