Hear, hear!
=)
I'm a Christian. I believe Jesus died to save sinners. I don't know all the answers, and am satisfied in believing that God made things the way they are. Whether it be through evolution, whatever.
Big Bang? Sure, God made it that way. Evolution? Who's to say it wasn't part of God's process to create things the way He designed? Science and religion aren't necessarily mutually exclusive.
Personally, I think that trying to literally interpret a translation of a translation of something a guy wrote on papyrus or whatever back in the day is a bit on the foolhardy side. You can't nitpick the details unless you're looking at the ORIGINAL texts, not some guy's attempt at translation. Ever played the game "Telephone"? As an example, try translating anything using "The Fish". Granted, it's not the same as a "real" translator, but just try translating something to a foreign language, then translating back to the original language. You can lose a lot, and totally mangle the sentence in the process.
In short, I have faith that God did things the way he did, and since I'm not God, I can't understand all of his ways, and perhaps, just maybe, (dare I say it?) the way that God did things is in COMPLETE AGREEMENT with science.

You're not the only one. My first impression was "SWEET! Now I can run 2x the VST plugins!"
This happens often at the local supermarket, with the "U-SCAN" self-checkout machines. My girlfriend always stops me from tinkering with them, and they appear to be running Win2k, but I have to wonder how difficult it would be to get it to spit out change.....
Same message here, totally bullshit canned reply. I tried calling them at that number, and hung up after about an hour... Best idea: just return the operating system =P
Another FL Studio user here, I've been using it for about 3 years now, and it is most excellent. I've tried other sequencers (Cubase, Reason, Logic etc), and nothing else gives me quite the control and the intuitiveness of FL Studio. z3ta+ is BAD ASS, btw. I also recommend DiscoDSP Discovery, and Native Instruments Reaktor. Also, check out http://www.sectionz.com.
You could try Musician's Friend and search using the string 'blem'. That brings up a list of all their cosmetically flawed/returned items, you might have some luck with that.
Imagine you have owned a copy of a game, let's say Soul Calibur, for Dreamcast. Now, imagine you did at least manage to make a backup copy of it (even though you have to circumvent copy protection in order to do this (wtf???)). Now, let's say you lose your original game (disc, case, INSTRUCTION BOOKLET) in a fire or something. Is it becoming clear to you? Why does needing copies of the instructions automatically say that you are pirating a game?
I second the motion...I just saw that movie recently, and he seems to be a very good actor, and he looks to be in the proper age bracket for the part of Anakin in Episode II.
Nope, I'm rather certain Anakin turned when he had a falling out with Obi Wan =) Although I would imagine the death of his mother would probably contribute as well
Gotta agree with you there.. I've lived everywhere, but I've lived in Fairbanks for the past 4 years....its gotten to like 60-70 below here....you do NOT want to go outside *grin* Although it's quite amusing to throw some hot water out your front door....its all frozen before it hits the ground....=)

My m-audio Audiophile 2496 card has an S/PDIF interface and records at 24bit/96KHz =) You can get one on eBay for around $150USD

They've already started on this one.
