I was using a Harddrive that was just sitting on the desk. Stupid me set a paperclip or something on it, not thinking, and I was hit with hot shards of Silicon. It left a nasty little prick on my face for a while. THankgod it didn;t hit my eye.
9 hours, on a good night.
I go to bed aroun 9, and am up at 5:30.
But, I'm fixing to get an afterschool Job, so it will be seriously cut back.
I'll not be getting to bed till 11ish, so I won't get up till 6ish.
Which gives me 7 hours of sleep, which is still plenty.
Last month when I was taking driving school, and not getting home at night till 11, I started seeing strange shaped out of the corners of my eyes, and wierd gray bubbles floating in the air.
But, I was still getting up early then, so I will be getting more sleep than that.
I've had the same thing happen on ebay before.
I found some guy trying to sell a CD with a bunch of GPL'd programs. Clearly visible in the screenshots where The Gimp, Staroffice, and Abiword. He claimed his company, something like
Blah industries, created the programs themselves.
I wrote him an email and let him know that if he didn't change the ad, he would be in violation of the GPL.
HE THREATENED TO SUE ME FOR HARRASMENT!!
He actually had his lawyer email me (yes, it was his lawyer, the email address was from a business and I went to the website and looked).
I wrote the lawyer back, told him what the man was doing, and never got a reply back.
I really wish I would have saved those emails, but I have switched services and computers since.

I have generic hardware (Intel Seatle MoBo, and a voodoo3 video card). I can't remember the last time it crashed, its been a long time. Sometimes I have games crash (CS is notorious), but never just internet surfing or something like that.

One is mad because he lost all of his grades because he saves to the same floppy he's been using for about 3 years now.
The SPanish teacher hates us because her husband comes in at night and fucks stuff up, but she can't comprehend that he's breaking it, it has to be us.
My suggestion for you is to video tape him
Confront him with a video camera,
with your other boss. Get him to say why, on tape.
Or, Blackmail. I do that to my tech partner,
I caught him with "naughty" things on his computer, so I just have to mention that, and he'll do anything I want. If need be, you can plant something for blackmail. Do you have a samba network? Copy some porn.avi's onto his machine, let it sit for a few days, and when you go to "Update" his computer, accidently find them, say hidden in the printer folder.

I used Redhat 7.1 XFS and IceWM.
They are used solely for internet surfing,
and I put Netscape Navigator 4.78 on there.
The CPU usage bar has yet to spike past half way.
I turned off all unneeded services, even Sendmail.
I even decided against using ipchains, because they are already behind a firewall.
Either
A. University of Arizona.
Everything is done over the Web there.
B. Talk to your local Uni, and see if you can't work something out with the CS prof.
And use a Basic stamp and a UHF camera.
That way you wouldn't need any bandwidth for the cAmera, which would run about 200$
and a UHF controller with 8 i/o pins can be had for about 100$ at hobby shop.
The basic stamp is about 60$ from parralax.
You could rig the Remote right to the motors and such, but I would hook it up to a computer, that way you have a stationary computer controlling it, and put a tv-tuner on it, so you can see the UHF camera aswell. Then, create a perl program that would say....output +5 on a certain line on the LPT port to turn left, +5 on another for right, etc.
That would be hooked the the remote, which would inturn put +5 into the Basic stamp, which would then execute the turn.
Or if they are all the same, use DD.
Once you get through the hellish install in another language, DO YOU WANT TO DO IT AGAIN!!???

Yeah, where I want to go (Shawnee State U, in Portsmouth, Ohio) THey Have CE, but its basically CS with some electronics thrown in.

Has a linux for dummies book with a copy of Redhat 6.2 in it.
