It's widely agree'd the white house was the orignal target and maybe also the target of the plane that went down in PA. Luckily the pilot couldnt find it and had to crash into the pentagon instead.
You are looking at the situation now that its happened. No one on that would have thought in a million years they were about to be flown into a building. Not even a small thought in the back of their mind. Its never happened and hopefully never will again. What usually happens when someone hijacks a plane? They set the plane down somewhere and make some demands and eventually everyone is released unharmed. Now, in the future hijacking a plane with a knife probably won't get you very far. Now that people have seen this.
ok, I can think of one *possible* way the ending could happen is if thade's father, (I'm assuming was also a general, and last name being thade) took one of the pods from the ship in cal li ma, went back to earth and started a revolution then came back. This would explian how he knew that humans were once the masters, and it would explain where he got the gun. The gun being a pre-marky-mark time gun! (it used bullets instead of whatever mark mark had) Ya, very far fetched.
well, They do make it clear in the movie that technology is not the apes strong suit. As grandpa heston points out to thade, humans are to be feared becaused of the inventions and technology they can create.
Can you explain how the planet Marky Mark crashed landed on in the start of the film was Earth? The space station was apparently sitting by a saturn-like planet, and whatever planet they crashed on appaered to have two or three moons. Now the ending would make sense if it was earth all along, but where did these three moons come from and also when they were entering the planet it, of course, looked nothing like earth. so, what gives?!
Have there been any studies about people avoiding products because of negative ad experiences?

Are you trying to use this as an example against the missile defense system or for it? I clearly see this as a reason for it. Take Iraq for example, if they ever do develope a ICBM and there is no missile defense system, the world at large would be powerless to stop them from invading which ever small country they wanted to, due to threat of nuclear attack. The MDS is to erase that threat against the US or anyone, and that is a bad thing?

I believe you are missing the point. We aren't building this defense system to actually defend against real missiles, but to defend against the threat of the missiles. If we don't have this defense system then, in the not very distant future, any nation can hold us or our allies hostage with just the threat of launching a nuclear missile. What if Saddam had nuclear missiles when he invaded kuwait. Do you think we would have still gotten involved if he had threatened to launch them at us in response if we did?
Another good book for socket programming in linux is "The pocket guide to tcp/ip sockets". I just recently picked it up and it seems very good so far. I'm starting to realize, the smaller the book the better.
I really fail to see why recording companies should be getting money from people burning their own cds. Sure, the artists should get some money, after all it is their music. But the recording industry? No, I just don't see it. The recording industry is going the way of the dinosaurs in the future.
Get a clue man. If this was some 40year old embezzling money then sure lets throw the book at him. I personally think the school did the right thing in only suspending him for 10 days.

after reading about the TV license fee England has to fund TV stations, would you be willing to pay an extra tax on a monthly basis to get rid of banners ads? The tax would be added to your isp bill of course. I would be all for it, but of course it would be next to impossible to split up this money and dish it out to worthy sites..
