    Wrong, wrong and more wrong.

    1. you don't, EVER, have the right to modify the code or any part of it on the cd's.
    2. The service is bound by the tou and eula, not specifically running the software, but accessing blizzards servers etc.

    Rmt(real money transfer) is purely abusing the service provided by blizzard. You have no leg to stand on, and it would be severely damaging to see rmt legalised, since it would suddenly attach real value to your gamecode/characters etc.

    Furthermore the rules that you follow inside the game are there for a reason, it already severely unbalances the game economy and such that these kind of things are done.

    Anyone who uses glider breaks the terms of use they agreed to before they were allowed onto blizzards server.

    it's not an unrelated statute or even a precedent.

    The main reason for going after someone who makes cheating possible and undetectable is because it is nigh impossible to go after users that run his software due to the anti-detection tricks the software uses.

    It reminds me of a dutch politician some 10 years ago. He was an extreme right party (pretty much a 1 man party, atleast, he was the only one ever elected to the dutch house of representatives).
    The guy was so hilariously extreme and obnoxious that just his being there, was making sure extreme right would stay a fringe political movement.

    Unfortunately, he retired, got replaced by a more competent, charismatic person(pim fortuin) and the mess of that incident still has reprecussions 4 years after that party crashed and burned.

    After messing with ubuntu 7.10 64 bit for 2 days just to get the dhcp setup working, I can honestly say it still has some way to go. Hardy heron is slightly better, but bugs with wine.

    Maybe they should have just left in the wall that originally divided all passengerarea's and the cockpit? You know, the one they removed because airlines were too cheap to pay for an extra flightattendant in the cockpit.

    Both parties say "stuff" then turn around, get their cash from the exact same Companies/organisations and just do whatever the hell suits them and their cronies best.

    Actually the BeNeLux, especially the Netherlands and to a degree Belgium have a huge advantage over the Swiss in that they have a natural "resource" that gives them a pretty much guaranteed moneystream, Harbours that can be open in all seasons, therefore a big income for both these countries is Import/export to germany, Switserland etc. Whereas the swiss used their Neutrality as a way to gain their wealth( the dutch tried this too, but the fact that Switserland is infinitely easier to defend against foreign nations than the netherlands were made this strategy useless in wwII

    While i don't know the education level and standard in NZ, I was amazed at the level, quality and style of Finnish education. Moving here as a Dutch person, it was quite nice to see.
    While the dutch system is not terribly bad, it is still too easy to slack/fail and nowadays university education is becoming more and more a gamble that can get expensive if you fail, though no where near as horrible as some of the debt stories I hear from US friends.

    i got rear ended twice at a red light. There isn't much choice at a red light.
    Any action i can take involves me going forward before i can turn, this puts me into the trafic coming from the left side, which the n would hit me on the driver side.

    Totally agree, it's an unfortunate trend nowadays in europe too. It is getting easier and easier to get yourself into such huge debts that it will cause serious problems.

    Debt and loanfree since 1998 after paying my last uni. fees back to the dutch gov.

    The only loan i would take would be for buying a house, because those are atleast backed by a physical object of reasonably stable value.

    heh, agree with you though, as a european(dutch, but living in finland), I am so happy we don't live in the "live to work" economy that is becoming so common in the US.

    I have a decent salary, a nice appartement, can do most of the things i would like to do and also have the time to do them. working 36 hours per week with 5 weeks total holydays not including bankholydays.

    I don't want to work myself to neardeath just so i can have free time when i am 65.

    Better to compare to finland then, which has a population density more comparable to the US.

    Prices here for a mobile phone sub are between 5-30 Euro's (6-40 dollars).
    Personally with very little calls etc I pay around 10 euro's a month, friends of mine who use their phone more, usually have 30 subs that include unlimited time, wlan access etc.

    There is really no area I know of that has no coverage, maybe all the way up in lapland, but i've never been there. Never seen an outage apart from overload at all(overload can happen at, say, festivals etc.) the weather here is probally worse during winter time than any of the US states, apart from maybe hurricane areas.

    Personally I still have to laugh when i see all the aboveground power- and communication lines in the US. It feels so 100 years ago ;)

    Blizzard allows for money back within 30 days if you haven't used the cd-key to create an account.

    Since account creation is after the eula etc, this isn't a problem as such.

    Ehhh... let me guess, you are from the US? There is still a more than 80% of the planet left that doesn't have english as their first language you know..... Personally I speak quite decent english and have no issues to follow movie dialog etc. but a lot of people i know, especially in older generations either speak no english or do not have the degree of fluency to follow fast spoken dialog.

    While I agree that osX is a nice operating system, the security of the os is mostly guaranteed by the relatively small marketshare apple has. No operating system is without vurnerabilities, it's just that most trojans/viri etc. are written for windows since it has the biggest marketshare.

    Anyway, the fact that a Mac would set me back around twice what i would need to pay for a similary powerfull pc, makes it currently a non-option for me atleast.

    So basically you are bored with computer games in general?

    Probally not just computer games, since sports are based on the same principle, you play a game to get better at the game to play against better opponents, just the same.

    Or going to the pub, since the only reason to drink is so you can drink more next time, right?

    Or just maybe there is more to it than just the act of leveling itself, maybe it's the fun you have during it, the people you meet etc....

    okay, so concidering an average server which has 200-400 lvl 60 characters on each side. 40 people per battleground. makes a minimum of 5 teams per side if EVERYONE only plays with the exact same people every time. Now the battlegrounds aren't the only way to get better gear and or stats etc. so it's hardly a problem that one side will get better than the other.

    Agreed, totally.

    I saw some statistics recently of averages by country in amount of time worked and the relative productivity. The conclusion of the report was that the best productivity is reached when people work 32-38 hours per week and worst productivity was 50 or more hours per week. Without rest and relaxation, your productivity drops, even in a 40 hour 9-5 week, see how much gets done on fridays.....
