    Presumably this goes both ways. So those "news" outlets whose only content is made up of republishing Twitter (or Reddit) comments and pretending they did some work are now liable for paying those Twitter users for their content.

    I had the same thing happen with a negative review I posted for Whole Foods. It stayed up a couple of days, got a lot of positive feedback and then was hidden by Yelp. Presumably Whole Foods is a paying Yelp customer.

    Please, this is nonsense. It was not beyond his power. He was in power, leader of the D party, and determined the direction of the ACA.
    Apparently, you weren't paying attention when the bill was originally passed. Obama had to make a slew of compromises in order to get any republican support, without which the bill would not have passed. The republicans got the bill they wanted,

  19. Perhaps you're unaware of this, but the upper house of the UK Parliament is unelected. The lords cannot be "voted out". This is in contrast to the EU which is considerably more democratic.

    The amended version of House Bill 130 puts into law the state's existing practice of granting medical waivers to children whose physicians request them, and in doing so, removes the Mississippi Department of Health's ability to deny such requests.

    In other words, this allows the anti-vaxxers and religious nuts to go to their chiropractor, osteopath or other quack to get an exemption. Hell there are plenty of MDs that will write a prescription for anything you want for $50.
