incoming calls eat up your minutes??? that's dumb!!!
I prefer our British way on this one (caller pays for calls except when roaming abroad) minutes are only used for outgoing calls, incoming sms is free, outgoing is 5pence
But isn't the O in OTP "ONE" IO.e u use the pad ONCE and then discard it. How can it then be vunerable to a plain text attack ? Isn't the key as long as the message or am I missing something obvious here?
I am no crypto specialist, but isn't OTP the most secure form of encryption (provided of course that the pads themselves can be transferred to the reciever without interception) ?
1) games that use right click and can be entirely operated by the mouse
2) websurfing - with my 5 button mouse, I never have to touch the keyboard when surfing unless I want to write a message, such as now) and right click is useful for lots of things when surfing (e.g save image as, browser back for lame sites that open in menuless windows, add to bookmark etc) It's just so useful to have the right click without having to use the other hand - which may be holding a soda, or the phone, or whatever...
The modifier key system is GOOD, and gives NOTHING away to the multiple mouse button approach IMHO Apart from the fact that a right click on the mac becomes a two handed operation instead of one handed. That's important to a lot of people.
The case you see in the article is sold by Scan as the "Scorpio". I buy almost all my stuff from scan, they are great - usually I buy stuff from their "today only" page. Their next-day delivery rocks.
Beg to differ... UltraEdit is the best text/programmer editor I've ever ever used.

why put the rj11 in the mouth ? just put the cable attached to the connector in (so the connector is hanging outside the mouth), then there's not bare contacts touching skin. Seems obvious... what am I missing?!
LOL!!!! If you think that isn't expensive, (a) Are you Bill Gates? and (b) Perhaps you'd like to send me a few hundred bucks... I could sure use some extra cash right about now...
I did, and I assumed is was ALSO referring to the common misconception that people get shot in ireland, in fact it's just Northern Ireland where the conflict is.

but bizzarely, it's cheaper to call the states from my Orange Mobile phone, than it is from my BT landline...

I like to code to classical music. I find it helps me concentrate better.
Each to ther own I suppose.
lol, no not necessarily.
some examples off the top of my head...

but that slows u down. Why click and wait - 2nd mouse button saves time.

In the UK they're sold as the Scorpio from Scan and they come with power supply. I have the indigo version and I love it. Best case I've ever had.
There can be only one choice for Arthur Dent... Hugh Laurie.

I think his name is still Paul Daniels... :)
Hmm... If I were quoting you, I could use...
"If I use the word "which" instead of "that", but don't preced "which" by a comma, are you gonna stick a [sic] in there?"[sic]
or
"If I use the word "which" instead of "that", but don't precede "which" by a comma, are you gonna stick a [sic] in there?"
I think you're saying that you like the second one eh?
(It's humour - laugh!)

Hmm, I'm in the UK and I've been a moderator several times. Been in Slashdot for a couple of years but not very many posts.
Actually the hebrew word that was translated to "days" can also be translated as "period" so the earth was form in 6 "periods"
It's LOSE not LOOSE g'dammit.
A supper site? What will I be able to buy to eat there?
It's "bear" with me, not "bare". I'd rather not take my clothes off with you...
Nah, he just forgot to modify the warp core emitters and cycle the shield harmonic frequencies...
Man, that's an awful lot of typos for someone in their 30's !
(vacuum, designs, stagnant, "whether or" "of it" obsolete)
he's talking about the 75 cent royality to the mp3 patent holders, not the cost of the players.
