    They're in Dublin (Eire, or Southern Ireland) The "trouble" is in Northern Ireland.

    Dublin is a very peaceful and lovely place, with extremely friendly natives, and of course, most excellent Beer.

    When this was posted a couple of months ago, it was touted as a new interface for PDAs - and I can see it being useful for that. I played with it for a while (about an hour) and got quite proficient. It also helps to load up a dictionary and the sample woprds file that comes with Dasher (you have to load these files each time you run the program) - sure it's nowhere near as fast as typing on a full sized keyboard, but for making short notes on a pda on a train/bus/plane or in a meeting, it's great!

    You're right, the fact that there are security holes isn't news but the fact the the MS programmers have finally got off their collective fat arses and released a patch IS news.

    I'll be pressing the Windows Update button when I get home tonight.

    Anyone want to bet on how long before the next MS vunerability is discovered?

    Can I ask for my money back when people crunch annoyingly loudly on theor popcorn? or slurp their coke annoyingly loudly? I HATE going to movies because of that - I rarely go now. I go if the kids really want to see something that requries an adult to be there but the popcorn munchers and coke slurpers long ago killed my enjoyment of movies.

    so should we also ban popcorn and chips? The rustling noises of packagaing and eating noises as people cram their fat faces with more food they don't need are also damned annoying and spoil my enjoyment of the movie.

    Nope People get pissed off because they're trying to listen in to the PRIVATE conversation and they can't hear the other side of it. The conversation is PRIVATE and so you shouldn't be trying to listen anyways.

    My phone is set to vibrate mode and I talk at normal conversational volume on it, so what's the big deal?!

    man, if I had mod points you'd get modded up.

    People say it's cuz of the ringtones - which I agree with, but I have a mobile and insisted on buying one with vibrate mode. All mobiles shoud have vibrate mode imho.
