No shit, ACID2 is pointless. As a web developer, I honestly had a good laugh when it first came around. The laughing stopped when my community took it seriously. Instead I had to develop strong arguements against it, which instead of being read, were just tossed as 'pro-Microsoft'.
My question: Do you think that it is possible for IE to exist with other browers (not just Firefox, but Safari etc.) or that there will always be a 'front-runner' like IE is now?

For those of us that aren't six years old anymore, the Plays for Sure is more of a branding initiative than what you're trying to get at. If the product has the Plays for Sure logo on it, you can be sure (HA! See, I did it too!) that your DRM files WILL PLAY on that device with no problems.
Note: some 827 people (rough estimate, contents may have settled during shipping) have written to point out that the CSS used in the test is invalid. This is deliberate, as a means of exposing the ability of user agents to handle invalid CSS properly.
That's it. Encourage developers to support invalid coding by designers. That's the way to encourage web standards!
Both cities I've lived in have had two options. WideOpenWest and Comcast. I'm with WOW now and was in the old city as well. Dual cities exist, just have to find them.
