Every generation talks about how the current generation of teenagers will be complete wastes because of ________ (fill in the blank.) In the 50s it was Rock and Roll, in the 60s it was drugs and the hippie movement, in the 70s it was drugs and disco, in the 80s it was just drugs, the 90s it was violent video games, in the 00s it was a generation with no motivation. In each case the result has been the same. Kids that are ok as kids turn out ok as adults. Kids that are messed up as kids turn into messed up adults. We can always try and find something to blame it on, and in many cases it does have to due with the environment they grow up in, but sometimes broken is just broken.
True, but only some shows are available on Hulu, some on Netflix, some on Amazon Prime, some on HBO GO, by the time you pay across the board to be able to watch any content you want, you might as well be paying Comcast for full blown premium cable.
Corporations are people just as much as Unions are people. Once you take away the ability for Unions to spend the money they extort from their members on political campaigns, then you have a leg to stand on when arguing that Corporations should not be treated the same.
"so legislators have accurate information from which to design regulations" Why on earth would they start using accurate information now? It's never stopped them before from passing laws on subjects they know absolutely nothing about.
Wow, the level of ignorance here is astounding. When Barack and company had both the White House and both houses of Congress, just how much did they get accomplished on this? Or did they too "kick the can down the road?" Politicians are all alike, and if you don't comprehend that then just keep feeding on what they're shoveling to you. Maybe your determined consumption of political bull$h!t will cut down on some cow's carbon footprint.
One agency in a sprawling, over reaching federal government has no idea what another agency in the same sprawling, over reaching federal government is doing? Shocking.... News at 11:00
For me, I have a NAS at home with mirrored drives, if one goes down, the NAS emails me to let me know. I also keep multiple copies besides the NAS, one copy on my personal laptop, one on my wife's and one on the desktop computer. About the only thing this doesn't protect against is the house burning down, but if that happens, my.mp3 collection is the least of my worries at that point.
Tell that to the Azure clients who suffered a 3 day loss of access to their data because some "dolt" forgot to account for leap-year in their programming.

Yes, just ask those money-making auto-workers in Detroit how well that worked out for them. $45 an hour, 2 months paid vacation, retirement, to stand there and push a button all day? And everyone feigned such shock when the companies said "F*$% it, we'll move to Mexico!"
Most property already has utility easements unless they're very rural, even then it's simple enough to seize with Imminent Domain for "the greater good"
Are you not intelligent then or did your parents, teachers, society not teach you anything, you just popped out knowing it all? Intelligence doesn't mean knowing everything, it's the ability to learn and to expand on concepts.
California and New York have the highest tax rates in the nation, how well is everything fixed there? No matter how much is collected in taxes, there will always be politicians willing to flush it down the toilet. People are finally starting to realize it.
Given that the Star Wars franchise is owned by Disney now, we should be thankful the title isn't:
Star Wars Episode VII: It's a Small Universe After All
...there should be a font for sarcasm.

I've used SecureCRT for years, still my go-to for terminal emulation. Great organization, logging, lots of good features.

Yeah, so do Cher, Madonna, Prince and everyone else on the list. But no one says "Elivs who?" or "Madonna who?"
President Elvis, at least he can't screw things up any worse than they are now.

if opp_score >= my_score opp cheats, otherwise, they're playing fair!
Nope, Skynet
I think realer is the bestest choice of words in this article.

Obama has stated that this issue is not of major concern to him and will not be seeking prosecution.
That's what he's stated, but not what he's done. They've raided several marijuana dispensaries and farms here in Colorado.
How do you know when a politician is lying? When their lips are moving.
They don't even care about re-election any more. They pass laws that benefit their donors and get a nice cushy "consulting" gig when they retire.
