The Paris Accord was not a ratified treaty... there was no way to enforce it.

If Cities and states want to voluntarily take action... go for it. That is how the constitution works...

Watch out in those local and state elections however... ;)

The states created the Federal Government, not the other way around.

Powers not specifically granted by the constitution to the Federal Government are reserved for the states.

If you don't like it, change the constitution or move to a country with a better system... good luck.

Hillary Clinton ran for president with a slick logo befitting a Fortune 100 company. It had detractors, but I think we’ll remember it fondly as a symbol of what could have been—clarity, professionalism, and restraint.

Donald Trump countered with a garish baseball cap that looked like it had been designed in a Google Doc by the man himself. This proved to be an effective way of selling Trump’s unique brand.

From the article supporting the claim... "Fewer U.S. citizens consider climate change to be a "serious threat" compared to two years ago..."

The question being asked was not is climate change happening.... it was do you personally consider it a threat... and to that most (US citizens) can honestly answer no.

Given the struggles with everyday life and the fact that slightly colder temperatures ushered in an Ice Age in North America only 12,000 years ago and we have been warming ever since and it's a good thing that did. If there is suddenly some new component to the warming it is still not a "serious threat" to most.

That does not mean that people reject obvious truth... just that they do not equate it to a dire risk to themselves or the planet as a whole.

This is a bad example of a "bad idea" that needs to be killed.
