    You don't get it: everyone is free to express their opinion to Youtube and Disney that they shouldn't sponsor an asshat; Youtube and Disney are free to act on that.

    To then postulate that PDP's asshattery deserves full First Amendment protection, but that of the complainers and Youtube and Disney doesn't is the height of hypocrisy.

    No it doesn't. That's a right-wing frame, don't buy it. Free speech automatically implies freedom of association: no-one can force you to stand by and listen to speech you don't want to hear.

    If you are worried, you should be worried about whether or not you are abusing a power relationship to impinge on that secondary freedom (of association). But hypocrisy it is not.

    Actually, a lot of the resistance against nuclear energy is people who are (rightfully, it turns out) distrustful of the nuclear industry.

    You know, according to the numbers, I'm still more likely to die at the hands of my fellow Europeans than by a Muslim immigrant.The RAF, ETA, and IRA blew up a shitload more people for a longer time than flash-in-the-pan ISIS/Al Quaeda. Rapists are not more likely to be immigrants. In fact, they usually are some the victim already knows. And being run over?
