You haven't spent a lot of time in jail, have you?:) My experience is based on being the good guy, not the bad guy.
There are usually numbers for bail bondsmen posted by the phones. That's who you need to talk to, not your mom, significant other, etc. They want their 10%, so they'll call everyone you ask them to.
You have the right to legal representation. If you cannot afford legal representation, an attorney will be appointed for you. That may have a familiar ring to it. The only thing you should say is "I want a lawyer." It may take a few hours to a day, but one will show up.
You can make calls once you're booked in. The calls are collect, so hopefully the other side will take the calls. It's a good idea that people know where you were going, so they'll already know to accept the charges.
Since the charge is only going to be a minor charge, they'll probably book you, and release you ROR. That is, unless you took a swing at a cop or something. You'll be given a court date, and kicked to the curb.
Regardless if you're being arrested for being annoying, or murder, you're not just dropped into some dark hole that no one will ever hear from you again. You just may not be allowed to leave.
Jails don't generally have the capacity to take in hundreds of people at once, and keep them. They have logistics issues. They may have cells and bunks available. They may not have enough food coming in. So the trivial BS arrests (like these could be), will be processed and released.
I was thinking exactly that. I guess if you see the cop coming and reach into your pocket quickly for your phone it might work. What could possibly go wrong?
I know, but I can't imagine how it would work in ME Universe. It is boring when going into FPS mode and excellent in RPG. Anyway I wish them well and will buy ME:3 to see how it worked. Hope that won't be yawning as much as I did during ME:2 gameplay.
Mass Effect is not a typical shooter, like Halo or Battlefield. During some action in ME you aim, yawn, shoot, reload, yawn again and then take your aim. Maybe I am wrong and they have prepared something special like Team Slayer mode (w00t!) but after playing ME i ME:2 I am rather sceptical about it.
no, it's not just about getting an unblurry image. But to get one you have to know a little how to get such picture. thats why pictures which are not digitally processed with Photoshop (or Gimp, whatever) are the best. Thats my opinion, maybe yours different because you shot many blurred photos, then yeah.. why not. Have fun.
Spoken like one who takes a few shots here and there, and declares himself a photographer, capable of determining what is best for the entire field. A person who makes such sweeping comments about a field as diverse as photography, is at best ignorant.
You'll also find that most professional photographers (as in, it's their profession and they get paid to do it) agree that there is a level of processing that is acceptable in photoshop, even for newsprint where the standard is very high. Writing off Photoshop entirely is like a carpenter who refuses to use a nailgun because "real men drive nails in with a hammer".
Thats all true. Real men use hammers, not nailguns.

Yes, my dog is proud, inteligent, loyal and you don't have such friend and you will never have, unless you have Nintendo DS/DSi/3DS and will get yourself and play Nintendogs.
LOL, and after few years some Anonymous will get their (opt-outers) database from ISP resources and everybody will know that every Tom, Dick and Harry watches porn. On the other hand, everybody is watching porn so it won't be that bad like hacking PSN this year, right?:)
This goes bit off topic but ok. I had three labs before this one. So it's my fourth. Never had any problems with them, except ruined shoes and stuff, but they do stupid things when they are young and full of energy. There are dogs who have "personality disorders", like we humans have. So maybe you were just out of luck or something went wrong when your dog was young pup. My labs never showed aggression, you have to work with your dog if you want to have perfect companion for your family. Thats why humans go to school, we learn that fighting with each other is bad thing and that violence is not always the way to solve problems. Without that we would probably never make it further than the Dark Ages. Same with dogs (not only labs) you will let them act stupid, they will.
How does she know if it was really a stroke? Only by symptoms??? It could be many other diseases from optic neuritis, multiple sclreosis onset... or glaucoma. Did she have a CAT or MRI scan to differentiate? Also if she had stroke and it just affected her vision she may consider herself as very lucky, without thrombolytic therapy. She was also aware that going to South Pole is not like hitchiking in the mountains, no 911 calls. Anyway I wish her well and hope she will recover.
All I can say is that I totally agree. Maybe Newsteds bass was not "visible" on AJFA but I heard them performing live and it was really good. Same with "Black Album", St. Anger is kind of experiment which was not worth to spend few bucks on iTunes and on the rest lets just put the courtain of silence...
James Hetfield
Lars Ulrich
Kirk Hammett
Robert Trujillo
Let the suing being
They forced Jason Newsted to sell his shares before he quit the band, and I have heard that Jason is going to sue them because of hostile takeover of the company and his loss of profits from this scandium deposits.
ps. Jason is better basist than Trujillo! And Metallica ended in 1991!
Macs for the masses.
Giant Sand Worms.
Yeah, I thought of Shai-Hulud too.

thats what I call informative post :) Thanks!
thanks for the tip, hope not to utilize it.

Errr... a bullet in the head?
yeah, frost or it will turn into some first person shooter.
I hope it's free app. People who get arrested usually have the right for one phone call (if they are still able to talk)...

No wonder, they are they smartest dogs on this planet. And really good friends. And really kids friendly.
Nerds play Nethack!
I guess they have at least thrombolytics on board or aspirine to dissolve the blood clots in such cases...

18 comments and 12 anonymous cowards... it's some invasion? Or they are from Intel/AMD gathering info for their labs and creating FUD?
