    I know you're joking, but banning snail mail could prevent further attacks. It's used only by spammers anyway.

    I haven't seen Google participate in any independent test. They are making big claims, but I wouldn't just accept the words of a company praising its own product when they fail to provide proof for years.

    And those bad drivers get their licence revoked, just like bad software should be banned. It's not singleing out aoutonomous cars.

    In what way did news coverage make things worse? If a huge crowd of cameramen were to obstruct the way of emergency vehicles I would understand the uproar, but absent that I fail to see what damage could journalism possibly cause.

    Electricity is not something we can efficiently transport from places where it's abundant to places where it's needed. Unused excess electricity is a waste.

    Viruses, prions etc are all parasites, incapable of surviving on their own. They appeared after life, they didn't lead to it. You seem to be very confident in your theory, but offer no proof to back it up.

    The second law of thermodynamics is only true in a closed system. Planets aren't closed systems.

    It's just a single missile, so it was likely intended only to be a test. It would be over the top to attack because of a (failed) test launch.

    In C, you don't have to create a separate namespace with specifically named folders and files, and a separate class just to be able to say "hello world". Kids lose interest very quickly if they don't get results, having to learn about OOP before they write their first program isn't going to work.

    True, but that's also why it's bad as a first language. It only teaches a very narrow view of programming, and does that in a painful way.

    It does affect the behaviour of the pilot. If it's on autopilot, the change in behaviour may even be simulated and precisely planned beforehand. Still, it's not as effective than hacking the fly-by-wire controls, I wonder if that's possible from onboard.
