Radioactivity is spread all over Japan -- the soil is radioactive. Watch this video (and lots of similar ones on YouTube) this is children's playground just outside of Tokyo, nowhere near Fuckupshima. The geiger counter shows 6.4 micro sieverts/h while the normal background level is in 0.1-0.3 range. You might say that is not a big problem as it is in the ground only, but the dust particles get spread as the children play, once they breathe them in, they might have a problem.

Web Apps ? Nice idea, well tested in webOS -- nobody gives a damn. Bada has perhaps the best SDK, the only problem here is branding and marketing, Samsung has a poor record supporting their platform. Android on the other hand has the best marketing, but up to Gingerbread it was a technical nightmare. Now Android is getting better steadily. The key is to implement all those Kronos group open APIs and the system would be fine. Google intends to follow open standards and system critical APIs like OpenSL, making things faster and more developer friendly.. (finally)

I want the opposite, what I want is a combo, TV+PS3+Blu-ray, a Playstation TV or Xbox TV. I think Sony could do this, if they were smart enough, that would be an unbeatable all-in-one solution. Personally, I hate multiple remotes, DVD players, Netflix dongles and such stuff. Just one bezel free huge rectangle with PS3 and Blu-ray drive seamlessly integrated, that would be nice. No more cables, no more input selection or remote controller fights.
