Radioactivity is spread all over Japan -- the soil is radioactive. Watch this video (and lots of similar ones on YouTube) this is children's playground just outside of Tokyo, nowhere near Fuckupshima. The geiger counter shows 6.4 micro sieverts/h while the normal background level is in 0.1-0.3 range. You might say that is not a big problem as it is in the ground only, but the dust particles get spread as the children play, once they breathe them in, they might have a problem.
CO2? Some giant vents of methane have just been discovered in the Arctic, this might be due to warmer ocean and it ain't looking good. Methane is much more potent greenhouse gas then CO2.
Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated. We are the FGB (Facebook, Google, Bing). Your new shiny IPv6 ass will get tracked for ads and other screening purposes.
Web Apps ? Nice idea, well tested in webOS -- nobody gives a damn. Bada has perhaps the best SDK, the only problem here is branding and marketing, Samsung has a poor record supporting their platform. Android on the other hand has the best marketing, but up to Gingerbread it was a technical nightmare. Now Android is getting better steadily. The key is to implement all those Kronos group open APIs and the system would be fine. Google intends to follow open standards and system critical APIs like OpenSL, making things faster and more developer friendly.. (finally)
For confirmed peer reviewed low temperature fusion see Muon-Catalyzed fusion. What we are approaching here is a whole new field of very promising catalyzed fusion science. NASA already has patents on some approaches and deems it OK to spend public funds on further research.
For the sake of humanity we need a free OS to build upon. For example, you develop a low-cost solution utilizing Raspberry Pi running Linux, now you would have to pay MS for protection? Fuck that!
I want the opposite, what I want is a combo, TV+PS3+Blu-ray, a Playstation TV or Xbox TV. I think Sony could do this, if they were smart enough, that would be an unbeatable all-in-one solution. Personally, I hate multiple remotes, DVD players, Netflix dongles and such stuff. Just one bezel free huge rectangle with PS3 and Blu-ray drive seamlessly integrated, that would be nice. No more cables, no more input selection or remote controller fights.
$3.5M for the top dog pushing SOPA is pathetic, Google could throw in like $100M if they really wanted to. Most of the opposers are just opposing and not paying, and having TorrentFreak and 4chan among the figures against it might only hasten passage of this bill.
More clutter the better, design an easy GUI and they don't buy your documentation, manuals and Amazon dummies books -- the only revenue you will ever see from your FOSS.
I can no longer change my MAC address or spoof one? Since when?
A change of your MAC or IP is a criminal offence, remember, as every newborn you have an IPv6 in your birth certificate and screening profile attached to it from day one.
They have them in stock, please order via this shiny new web storefront after purchase please leave a comment and prefably full review about how it worked/ing, please report back! The world has to learn the truth.
Everything is latency sensitive, take a web page for example, all those elements inside, like those small images, each of those need a new query and get/send command, therefore you are getting 1 second penalty over every item on the page and these per connection lags accumulate resulting in one noticeably slow web experience, but somewhere in upstate Alaska that might be kind of good enough internet solution.
Japanese are evolving to radiation already anyway.., a mummy in Japan now carries geiger counter to prevent parking their baby-coach in a radiation hotspot. See GeigerMama.com (no joke) http://geigermama.com/.
Your info is outdated, Kirk is closing on $1M now, see the real source, scroll down on that page to see all supporters, opposers and all the money donated to those senators involved.
2012 will be the year, Linux finally comes to the desktop, I heared
Google could make it happen, a dedicated Android (Linux) version for desktop would be a guaranteed success, even now, lots of people are working on it [android-x86.org] in their free time, which is speaking for itself. Once Android is flagged official for desktop by Google big software and hardware players would have to consider it and they would port stuff over as there is no barrier of entry.
It goes like this.. CEO of HP plays golf with CEO of Palm. Palm: my company is such a mess, we are going nowhere...HP: hey, I've got some 20Gs sitting here and... I will buy your company for those 20G if you pass me 10%, ok? Palm: deal!
I do not expect that anybody has done this yet, but it might be possible.., right?

Muon is not the only catalyst, heavy fermions/electrons are another candidates.

Once the boss learns about financial advantages of outsourcing.
more importantly, the creator of C language
Android is Linux, running Linux kernel and a real FOSS, but Ubuntu is lacking one important thing here, the marketing machine that is Google inc.

The first drone? Wikipedia again, has it all..
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interstate_TDR
downed by spoofing GPS coordinates
I doubt that, more likely it simply malfunctioned, if they were that smart, why not just EMP the drone? Or do they did just that?

What about a 1MW Cold Fusion plant?

SOPA might help Google, Facebook and all the big players (with lawyer departments) to get rid of the pesky lowass competition.

Use the stash of Palm's patents against the obvious patent trolls. HP should then embrace Android.
Look at this "iPhone like" color Palm from 2001.
