And now, i'll offer up my $0.02
Dispite the fact timetravel never works right in ANY show(plot holes you could drive a bus thru) Endgame's time travel was minimalistic, and therefore ALMOST worked for me..the only problem was the 180 both janeway's attutes took.
I had been hopeing that the first hour of endgame would be "getting home" and the second part would be once they were home. in any case, they needed far more of an ending. or an explnation of what happened
and now for the rest of the series:
The effects over the last few seasons have been stunning, IMHO far better than any other show i've seen
In plot however, there was too much repition, and the way they can solve any problem by creating some magical, unheard of device is, to say the least..rather patheticWhile i am looking forward to the next series, I will miss voyager, because dispite it's problems, i's realy grown on my in the past few years.

No offence, but this has got to be one of the single DUMBEST things I've ever heard (that didn't come out of Dubya's mouth.

Alow me to shoot down your plan, if I may.
1)"Women in general actively dislike porn...The few women who do enjoy it are probably suffering from the kind of psychological problems that can only be solved by therapy." Umm, no. They just have a different view then you. Sex, in itself is a very natural thing. The human body is a beautiful thing. Sex/nudity is not something that should be considered bad, hidden or anything of the sort.

2)"If porn were made available freely, to anyone" I'll forget how ridiculous this is for just a moment, and focus on the LEGAL issues. Somebody owns a copyright on it, and thus it is THEIR PROPORTY. They can do with it as they see fit. Sell it, give it away free, etc. I'd love to see more free porn, but I know that the people who make it need to make money. (Anything free [as in beer] has this problem)

3)"regardless of sex or gender" Last time I checked, it was...

    4) "say for example in our public libraries, and supermarkets" And just HOW MANY easily offended people like you are going to FLIP over this? Please...you shoot this one down yourself.

    5) "It is the duty of congress to kill off the market for this debasing pornography" No, it isn't. Plus, congress is a bunch of old white guys who don't understand jack about the modern world, and don't know what FUN means.

    6) "...and all the consumers get totally bored." Good god. I thought the problem was "There is enough porn in circulation now" If there's enough, why ain't we bored? I leave this one up to you.

Face it, we're geeks. We can't get any. If we could, we wouldn't be playing the games in the first place. Will half-naked chicks get me to buy a game? It all depends. Are they in the game? Are they out of the game? Are they hot?
And really, who is a little softcore porn in games hurting? If you don't want to see it, close your eyes. If you don't want your kids to see it? Tough luck, they will one day, no matter what.
and objectifying women? Please give me a break. Anyone who cant tell the difference between a [hooker|porn star|naked chick in a game|insert other sex orianted female profesion here] and an honest to goodness real life woman needs to go out and get a f'ing clue. Thank you. You may go now.

I agree with everyone about the miss realy being social changes, but...I think it's time for some of these changes to take place. we need to change the way everything works, to stop the mad rush for money we have now and start HELPING socity, the envorment, the world and ourselves.
think about this articl for a second. why, for example dont we want to live in a small plastic house? why dont we want to drive small cars? because a big, fancy house is a sign of welth and higer social standing. the same thing goes for cars. if nothing changes, in 50 years, we'll be in the same place we are now. we'll have the same technology, it'll just be smaller and more expensive (and a little faster) companys will be more powerful, and more controling
if we dont change alot, soon. we are screwed. how can we change? beats me, but one thing we can all do, is sop thinking of ourselves for a second, and do what we can to better the world (open source is leaning in this direction) or, you can recycle, or whatever, "The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few" is all i can say on this.
