CompUSA??? Why even mention the hideous chain of stores. CompUSA has the most inept employees that are ready to 'impress' you with their Windows knowledge and sell you some worthless $50 Belkin cable.

Salesman: "you need this cable. a hot-swappable IDE ribbon is a must have."
Salesman #2: "is that the hot swappable IDE ribbon? Oh snap! that one made my AOL twice as fast and my por- er my 'files' save quicker."
Salesman #3: "guys, don't forget that he needs a terminator for that ribbon. its an extra $37.95 plus we get to grab your wifes boobies."
Customer: "What?! My wife? are you sure??"
Salesman: "positive. now lets see some boobage; i brought my star wars digital camera."

    CompUSA sucks.

Unfortunately, Ritalin can only give concentration to those who cant concentrate to begin with. If a normal person took Ritalin they would just get high. The U.S. has developed a problem with teenagers that were on ritalin as a kid for so long that now they chop it up and snort it to get a quick feeling of euphoria.

I would like to have an accurate poll as to how many of these 'informed' slashdot posters actually voted. After all, I have found that the ones who complain the most do so since they didn't voice their opinion at the appropriate place and time; i.e. the polls.

I disagree on your comment that 'cartoons are for kids.'
Cartoons originated as an adult form of entertainment. By 'adult' I dont mean a pornographic form, I mean it in the true sense of the word that denotes maturity.
Looney Tunes used to be played before movies in theatres during WWII along with newsreels. After TV became more common, cartoons became the babysitter of countless children around the world. Why? The themes and subtle political messages are lost on youths and all that is gained is a collection of images that is mildly entertaining.
Cartoons then became more kid-oriented in the late 1960's and then exploded in the 70's. I.E. Scooby doo, smurfs, School House Rock!, etc.
