I play cutting edge perfectly fine without a console... if you haven't noticed, there is this thing called a "PC" which can be used for gaming. Not only that, but it has better controls for certain types of games. Crazy I know.

The 2DS strategy is simply a trick to get more children to play nintendo games. It is more durable than 3DS and no 3D (if you are afraid that your children will be damaged by that)
The voter turnout is about 55-60%. That means about 40% doesn't support or doesn't care about who is leading the country. If a third party could swoop them up, they would win.
