There is no evidence to suggest that large amounts of weapons in the hands of a civilian populace does any good at all. In the Israeli context it has caused more friction than good as heavily armed settlers lorded it over the Palestinian populace. 1. Hey dictionary head! How come NOBODY on this newsgroup EVER gets all antsy about the number of articles or posts about "Identity Theft". Nobody ever steals your identity. You still have it. It's just an abstract notion of "potential value". The information you possess has "potential value" which may or may not be realized. "Identity Theft" may or may not infinge on that value.

    2. The whole of our economic system is based on the ownership, transfer and sale of "potentional income". Unless you still live in a world where sheep and goats are traded you will find "potential income" is exactly what is traded everyday. Futures, derivitives, options, variable interest rates, currency exchange markets. It is all an abstract concept in the transfer of VALUE and perceived VALUE.

Programmers are meant to be great abstract thinkers but the number of posts bitching the Copyright Infringement not being theft amazes me. Just swap identity theft for copyright infringement and then repost and see how stupid you look. It's about as daft as the gun control lobby trying to claim that there is a justification in the Constitution for military assault weapons.

I don't see any overriding moral arguments that a publisher should ever have to put thier work into the public domain. I'm not saying they should or that they shouldn't it's just I don't see an overarching moral point either way. Given that so many people have *very* different opinions on exactly what the right thing to do is with regards to published works it would be very difficult to claim a Natural Law basis for copyright.

He was pursued by local patriot militia groups into the lake who just before apprehending the suspect were unfortunately all drowned when the seperated waters returned.

The man has not been seen since. However experts at the Discovery Institute have uncovered damning evidence that the man belongs to an ultra secret branch of the Israeli secret service. Discovery Institue chairman Bruce Chapman is now leading a campaign to have this evidence presented to school children. Speeding is not a political statement.

What the government does with the money after you have paid it is not the issue at all. You are fully aware of the law. You are fully aware of the limit. You are fully aware of the consequences. The speed limit is a MAXIMUM limit. You don't have to drive at the limit. It is called a limit for a reason. If were called the speed average then that would be a different issue.

But really you don't give a shit cause accidents are things that happen to other people. You would never have an accident. You are always in control of the situation. You are a good driver. Your car handles well. How dare anybody tell you to drive at a limit. You are a rebel against big government. You break the limit and see yourself as a poster boy for the oppressed driving community. As you dream about your greatness you are distracted for just a second.

When you come to what you see through the shattered windscreen is a young childs lifeless body wedged between your fender and a brick wall. Now go and tell her mother how you were being an upstanding defender of freedom and justice.

It was in a residential street street on a sharp corner and he was driving like it was the Le Manns. I was just about to walk down that street with some friends when a telephone call held us up. We heard him speeding down the road and then the screech of tires as he lost it on the corner. Lucky for him his airbag saved his life. However he wiped out 50m of sidewalk ( lucky nobody was walking there), crossed to the wrong side of the rode before crashing ( lucky there was no oncoming traffic ) Destroyed a wooden fence ( lucky there was nobody behind it ).

The first thing I felt like doing after I saw he was ok was hauling him out of the car and kicking his arse or possibly putting his head in the door and slamming it shut a few times.

The poaching company may be willing to initially pay well over the odds just to get at the privvy information from the previous employer.

Once they have that information what is stopping them dumping the new employee within a year. They now have the information they wanted, information worth many more times what they paid in salary to the now discharged employee.

You claim that Israel is the "last racist state" in some of your posts. Well I would check to see the constitutions of all the Arab countries in the region and you will find that they mandate a "muslim" head of state and quite happily persecute minorities within thier borders. Israel isn't perfect and can be downright awfull in many cases but they are a democracy, they do have Arab members of parliment and the majority of the population wants peace. Peace will arrive and it will arrive sooner if people like you tone down the rhetoric. If you want to be usefull why don't you go and read about any one of the number of Israeli peace organisations and see what you can do. If you are Arabic or Islamic find Israeli's or Jews you can talk to and try to understand each other.
