Having been around 120mph in a couple of somewhat newer cars, I can definitely say that the front ends were starting to break free, especially when hitting even the most tiniest of bumps. Both were front wheel drive, which is completely irrelevant to the spoiler.
The spoiler on the cars is PROBABLY what kept their ass ends down on the road, otherwise I would've been flying.
Now, to the original parent, who said that a spoiler wouldn't make much use unless it was a rear wheel drive.. a spoiler would probably have ADDITIONAL effect on a rear wheel drive, to keeping the back wheels where they have traction... but, let me tell you.. if your rear wheels lift up off the road, in a rear wheel drive car, you're just gonna slow down, most likely, in a front wheel drive car, you're probably gonna go flipping end over end.
i imagine the head is a lot more sensitive than the foreskin.. and trust me, after having had friction burn/chafing there a couple of times, i always remember to wear underwear with jeans now, no matter how loose they are. don't have that problem with slacks/dress pants.. and i hate hate HATE underwear.

well, this has been in since 1.3, and needs to be fixed.. the mail reader bombs on any mail server that doesn't comprehend the CAPA POP3 command to find out authentication security methods..
I would hope that no one would ever really attempt to use a satellite connection for an interactive communications process. I used to IRC through a satellite link, and by the time my messages got through,the entire conversation had shifted to something totally different.
It should be made ABSOLUTELY CLEAR to the end users that they are TESTING THE ENVIRONMENT. Don't allow accounts for every person, their brother, sister, dog, and cat just because you want to load test your system. Load tests are easy to simulate.
In addition to having very obvious ways (like a gigantic push button on the screen that says "REPORT BUGS BY CLICKING HERE" or some such) to report bugs, inconsistencies, and other things.. make sure that people are given credit where credit is due, for their testing work.. and send out WEEKLY surveys to ALL testers.. and they MUST be filled out and returned within a certain time frame, otherwise the user is cancelled from the beta program.
These are ways to get quality testers. Even if they have no experience in software testing, you're at least going to get valuable input. Of course, people with software testing experience would probably be preferred, but also people with experience on other MM worlds would be great, too.. with the addition of several people who haven't the slightest clue (that's the best way to find bugs.. have people who don't know what they are SUPPOSED to do to get things to work right try things...)
Make varied groups of testers travel together, presuming it's a traditional RPG... so you have people with test experience, people with MMrpg experience, and n00bs alike teaming.. sure, there's time for free for alls, but make time required to test certain things, as well.
so, what is the purpose of the intelligible junk? It would seem that that would make it more obvious to the observer that it's complete trash, as opposed to something somewhat more legitimate (like maybe some advertising someone has actually signed up for.. i'm on a few lists for ad services intentionally...)

Hmm. I've got a 400MHz AMD K6-2 that has a V3, and it gets about 35fps in most places in Quake 3, and a 750MHz Pentium III, with a Radeon 7500.. and it gets about 30fps in the same situations. Have never really done any serious comparison, just have played them both with the FPS counter on..
Then again, we have nothing in my house newer than the P3/750. bleah.
