One site I visit frequently gives me the option to see their ads or not. I like that site and second, and they're very careful about how intrusive the ads are. So I choose not to block them.
Think about this: you're coding a nice algorithm. Meanwhile your goggles read your code and suggest improvements. Needless to say a copy of your code is sent to Google and patented even before you press "compile".
