Rove resigning is front page on CNN, Fox News, and pretty every other major news website on the planet, not to mention pretty much every other news aggregation forum site. If ANYONE would have missed this story if /. never posted it then they deserve to be shot in the face. You might as well just get all your news updates from 4chan.

    So, such a package does exist (I already knew that, I wasn't being facesous), it just seems no one user it.

    Tripwire is mandatory in my shop (and checked daily), so I would have noticed. Then again I wouldn't be running such crap equipment that required such crap drivers.

    As far as I've heard, PostgreSQL is a much better database, the only reason why MySQL is the DB used by webhosts is because many tools (phpBB and others) depend on MySQL to function properly.

    PostgreSQL is a *far* superior database, and unfortunately despite various kinds of database abstraction layers for the popular programming languages out there, people still insist on writing open source apps that are soley tied to MySQL. The whole notion of "but it's easier" just goes to show that they don't care about either backend portability or can't be bothered to learn anything past minimum SQL (e.g., MCSE weenie mentality).

    This movie debut - 10 years ago = Complete and utter bust. The money it made was due to the Internet and very little else. If anything it was a wakeup call to Hollywood in how much money can be made by "marketing" to the appropriate audience (although of course with SoaP it was mostly accidental ;)
