It's at best short sighted but more likely simply uninformed to think that people with baggy pants, hats on backward and cans of spray paint in their hand can't speak proper English. I'm failing to see how one's fashion sense has a bearing on their diction or grammar. You have some stereotyping issues you might want to consider.
I often thought the same thing while I was in Japan. It can't possibly be as bad as Korean television though, and I see people on the subways with TV on their phones constantly.
Nice try at USA bashing, however after several years in Japan I can tell you that Japanese subservience stems far more from samurai culture and a long history of an extremely small number of wealthy land owners dominating everybody else than it does "honor" or "public-service." You've been sugar coating Japanese society a bit too much. If they believe in "honor" so much, why did they go crazy raping and killing in China and Korea? It certainly wasn't because of "honor." Coincidentally the "honor" people talk about in Japan really isn't the same as the western idea of "honor." People are referring to "giri" which is actually much closer to "subscription to established decorum" than it is "honor."
I just got back from Brazil and I wasn't fingerprinted, i'm also an American. I did, however, have to pay exorbitant fees to get a visa. I'm in Korea right now and I didn't have to do much of anything here either. What do they do if you just refuse to give them your fingerprints? I'm going to take a boat over from South Korea, will I still get fingerprinted?
So you can transliterate it as either an "R" or an "L" and you'll be equally wrong in either case:) The best point you can make. Why would you expect the sounds of the original Japanese to survive when you convert everything into roman characters? That's why it doesn't bother me when people call 'sake' (rhymes with 'day'), 'saki.' If I wanted it pronounced correctly I would just write the kanji.
Usually they're spelled "naraebang" (with a's pronounced 'ah').
I never liked those PC-bangs that much. It was great for traveling around Korea without luggage and such, but if you're living there you can just invest in an internet connection at home.
Japan's internet cafes on the other hand are extremely cost effective for backpacker/travellers. You can usually get an overnight 6 or 7 hour pass for $10 USD or so, which makes it cheaper than a hostel.

What about the Linimo in Japan running from Fujigaoka in Nagoya Japan? That's a maglev isn't it? And it's been running for over 2 years now.
Maybe they were just happy to see an .exe that didn't muck everything up, and rewarded him with stars.
Well, differing opinions are always welcome. On the next project you release, you can document it any way you would like.

Besides, they would go after my son, wouldn't they?
Epic lulz for the blatant disregard for the wellbeing of your offspring.
Even though i vote, i've got to point out that voting doesn't work. If they don't like your decision they just change it in the courts.
