    Sure, but couldn't we stick with ones like cute puppies, fluffy kittens, or bald eagles if we're handing out breaks? I mean, if we HAVE to "accidentally" let a lifeform go extinct, smallpox has my vote!

    Problem is you can't get all of their stuff streamed. Some of their titles are DVD only. Stupid, I know.

    Went here to see whether a comment about Virtuix Omni has made it into the top three, was not dissapointed.

    Haha, me too! Although combining an Occulus Rift and and Omni is probably a bit too much like actual exercise to really take off in a big way. Yeah it's a neat gimmick, but not conducive to gaming for hours. Unless you are specifically using it to make your exercise routine more interesting, in which case it's a great idea. That would be a different user base than for most video games, though...

    Being a current Time Warner subscriber, all I have to say is: Holy shit, me too! Time Warner isn't a whole lot better, but they are a little, IMO.

    People are lazy. They don't go around and call you to fake-cancel their accounts hoping to get a better rate.

    We used to do exactly that with Charter every year. Worked like clockwork.

    That 8 minutes of audio was brutal to listen to. But that aside, yeah, my wife used to call Charter every year and say we're canceling because we're switching to ADSL. We weren't, but they reduced our rates for another year like clockwork. Next year when the rates went back up again, lather, rinse, repeat.

    He did actually say that. Repeatedly. If you haven't listened to the audio give it a try. Bet you can't make it through the whole 8 minutes. I got pissed off beyond belief after about 2.

    Yeah, my thoughts on climate change and the environment are kind of mutually exclusive. Maybe climate change is man-made, maybe it's not. But who cares. We're eventually going to run out of fossil fuels, and they're very dirty so why are we using them? I like a clean environment because I like a clean environment, and I think we should be doing everything we possibly can to get off fossil fuels as soon as possible. We are not currently doing enough. And if man-made climate change is happening due to our carbon emissions, well, a side effect will be improving that!

    Plus, I'm far too imaptient to ever try hypermiling. I tried it for a week or so when I first got my new truck years ago, and that week was hell. But then I've always viewed travel as wasted time with which I could be doing something else, so I tend to try to get where I'm going as fast as reasonably possible. I walk fast too.

    Is a win for the Tesla, but it sounds likes it pretty spectacularly failed when he hit something.

    ...while it was going 100 mph. I'm all for safety but I don't expect ANY car company to design a car that will keep occupants safe in a crash with enough kinetic energy to embed half the car in a fucking building...
