    I once even spend an insane amount of time trying to explain to a fellow lawyer why adapting software practices for lawmaking will be interesting, but he seemed unable to understand.

    I then abandoned the issue altogether, but would be lucky to join anyone who is bold enough to impose such a system on lawmakers.

    The original poster has no clue what this really means. Having such a project funded by the FP7 Framework Programme is the only sure way to discredit the whole idea. Have you ever heard of an FP6 or FP7 funded project that produced anything useful?

    I'd vote for desintegration if all belgians had cheaper and better internt from French and Dutch providers. Here in Belgium internet connectivity is double in price and one quarter in bandwidth of what they pay across the border.

    The story is about the Europe where governments subsidise the solar panel use by giving enormous tax cuts to the buyers of solar panels and even going as far as providing 0-interest credits.

    This insane amount of state intervention spawns corruption in the production and supply of the solar panels, which explains such high prices.

    Guys, there is a dozen of Linux distros is Russia. AltLinux is the most known, but there are also ASPLinux, Linux XP and a military classified . All the distro developers and lots of system integrators are in the battle for the state funding right now, so do not expect to know now what will the Russian national OS be tomorrow.

    I had the Unicomp keyboard (AFAIR, the 102-keys model) as a birthday gift four or five years ago and it is still looking new, although I use it at work every day.

    Can they install into $HOME again? The last time I checked (and it was on 0.9.4), they broke the possibility to install somewhere else than to the default /usr/lib hierarchy.

    With some dark magic, you could do it with 0.9.0, but not with 0.9.4. How can a piece of popular on-the-edge software lack so much of common sense functionality?
